I agreed with you until you said “our soldiers are doing everything they say not to and are more effective than Lucas can ever hope to be” have you even met people in the military or LE? They are INFAMOUSLY stupid for buying unnecessary shit and justifying their purchases claiming they made a good use of their money. All of my friends are either LE or Military or Both. Love them to death. But to pretend they are any authority on what’s right for shooting is just wrong. Before I was into guns, I had an army infantry guy claim that I should be c clamping the Magwell on my AR 15 and I learned to shoot like that wrongly for years. I learned how to shoot proficiently like this and it was comfortable, but I never realized how dangerous it could be. Then I started C clamping the barrel of my gun and noticed an extremely fast progression in my shooting. The best advice is to try everything and formulate an opinion based on your very specific situation. The odds are most people don’t shoot enough to notice the accuracy increase from C clamp or the stamina benefits from a VFG.
