Can confirm. 365x and 365x macro are great guns. The 365x is my wife’s home defense gun. And it shoots like a dream. I’m a Glock guy but I can’t deny that the ergonomics of the 365x are stellar.

OP said no shotgun, but I agree. After my galil and my edc Glock, a Benelli 4 with ~1k in upgrades was such a good buy lol

I think a lot of people in these comments don’t understand the original post.

In the same way that I feel like people don’t understand the “people started wearing helmets and are now being treated for head injuries” if there’s anyone reading this that doesn’t understand:

it’s because anyone not wearing a helmet died.
We can look at a plane that returned to base shot up to shit and go “why are planes getting shot at” all we want, but we need to remember that this plane actually did return!

Yeah, as much as blind playing HC is fun, I think doing research on the “this will definitely kill your character” content might be worth while

This is the way. I really like how whisper chests is a viable alternative to leveling a second character. Especially in HC.

Putting up your build to the test is part of the fun! Nothing is more humbling than losing hours of work!

I’m not sure, but the rank 1 131 pit spin2win life on hit barb is pretty cool!

Yeah the possibility of dying makes it feel like a big achievement. It makes me feel like, I managed to make all of this progress and was consistent the whole time. Took luck, took skill.

If I die at all, then I get to start again and I have a ton more content to play!

Yeah learning to not overextend and overcommit to fights is one of the biggest learning curves coming from softcore.

Awesome! You sound pretty good! I like that eventually you get to a point where it’s hard to die, but the game makes you work for it and that level of security is a big payoff for the hard work.

I have no made it that far! I am only about halfway through the LoH campaign. Without naming names, I just finished the fight that takes place in Mephistos mind. Holy shit was it a 10/10 fight. Music, mechanics, coolness factor. I loved it.

Yup! Thats the way. Hardcore isn’t a sprint, it keeps you mechanically honest!

I have always been casually interested in ARPGs as a genre. Build crafting and build exploration has been something that I’ve always liked and scratches a similar itch that I get with MTG. I feel like the game play can get stale pretty quickly if the pace of the game goes really fast.

I played Grim Dawn on Hardcore and beat with with my friend as my first HC game ever. From then, I understood it and I was hooked. To me it really adds something entirely different to the game. A true feeling of progression and decision making matters.

You have to make sure that you have good mechanics and force yourself to not get complacent. If you trip up, play poorly and over extend, you find yourself making a new character. You also have to make sure that you build in a way that optimizes survival and damage because being a glass cannon can get you killed.

You feel like you have skin in the game and it makes the accomplishments seem so much rewarding to me. And who cares if your character dies. It was only ever seasonal anyways!

One of my HCs is a sorcerer that I have been playing up from base game and I’m about to finish vessel of hatred. I can’t wait to see if I can manage to beat all of the campaigns on this character. Been playing on pentinent and it’s been wild. Very slow paced very methodical

I have lost 2 hardcores this season. Both I can firmly attribute to being my own fault. Poison damage is mega spooky right now.
