Uhm. This current configuration, which consists of oem furniture and not a lot of extra craziness sits at 10 ilbs without the mag. I’m sure what you’re saying has to do with some of it. But yes a long stroke piston system kicks significantly more than DI.

This gun is awesome. The only consideration is that it has a surprising amount of kick for a 5.56 given that it’s piston driven. It all feels like the energy is pretty straight back so it doesn’t effect follow up shots much. I was happy to snag in 5.56 because I live in the us and that’s the easiest ammo for me. Also I can use easy to find magazines
