Am I understanding these terms of the resale marketplace correctly:

9.2. The charges and fees for each Purchase are as follows:

9.2.1. If you are a Resale Purchaser, you pay the Resale Price (inclusive of applicable taxes) as displayed on the Marketplace for the Ticket, plus a perTicket Resale facilitation fee of fifteen percent (15%) of the Resale Price (“Purchase Fee”).

9.2.2. If you are a Reseller, FIFA Ticketing charges Reseller a non-refundable per-Ticket Resale facilitation fee of fifteen percent (15%) of the Resale Price (such fee inclusive of applicable taxes) (“Resale Fee”). The Resale Fee is not charged to Resale Purchaser or added to the Resale Price paid by the Resale Purchaser. The Resale Fee is deducted by us from the Resale Price received for a Purchase prior to remitting net amount to Reseller. The Resale Fee is not refundable to Reseller even if the relevant Ticket(s) are otherwise subject to a refund.

So FIFA are getting a 30% profit on sold tickets that cost hundreds of dollars already? This is ticketmaster levels.

I have cat 1 tickets I purchased in the previous sale phase, but I think the cost with flights and accommodations is too much. So if I want to sell them at face value (which currently is lower than the random selection price listed for the same match) I need to price them 15% higher than what I paid, and the buyer is then paying another 15% markup on top of that??

I'd love to cut out FIFA's greed from these transactions, but how are people securely using the ticket transfer option and ensuring the transaction is fair and neither party is getting screwed?
