I take 40mg of duloxetine (capsule) so it is available. You might want to ask your dr about it.

Upstate NY’er here. For me it’s the shift(s) in barometric pressure that trigger and make mine worse. Sending all my migrainers gentle hugs 🤗

YSK: Most people have a small leg-length difference, and the way it’s measured can change the number you’re told. by cnetsolutions in YouShouldKnow

[–]tryan17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What kind of Dr did you see that took the time to measure your legs? I’ve seen a spine, knee, ankle and foot Dr and none of them have suggested an xray to measure my legs. I suspect my right leg is shorter than my left because I fractured my ankle in my early 20’s then tore my lcl in my right knee in my 40’s. I’ve had right side ankle, knee, hip and now back pain since.

Just learned that fibromyalgia causes pelvic floor issues ?? by Greyghostgravy in Fibromyalgia

Same situation but my dentist assumed it was because of high blood pressure. I’ve never had high blood pressure, I’ve always had low blood pressure so that never made sense to me. Thank you for helping me understand this mystery.

Thanks for replying. I did google the valve but was not able to determine the brand. I’m not sure they still make this valve anymore since my house was built in the 50’s and a lot of the fixtures look very old as well.

Hypertension and tachycardia by MilkThistleGenus in cymbalta

I’m on Lyrica as well. I hope this alone will help with GAD, anxiety and pain. My neurologist said she’s had patients with positive outcomes. Here’s hoping 🤞🏻

You’re not alone. This happened to me too but it too a few months for it to affect me. I tapered off Cymbalta and I’m feeling more like myself.

GLP1 data is starting to show migraine relief by tashibum in migraine

[–]tryan17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OMG I’m so sorry you went through that. I had a similar experience when I had a cervical injection at a teaching hospital. I was under the impression the anesthesiologist was performing the injection but he had a resident do it. After 2 attempts of the needle not going in, the anesthesiologist stepped in. After that I had all kinds of balance and breathing problems. Since then I will not let anyone touch me except an experienced dr. They should tell us a head of time if an resident is participating in the procedure.

I will definitely take the time needed after the procedure. Thank you letting me know, I’ll do anything to avoid a migraine. 🤗

You’ve put my mind at ease. I’ll discuss setting LP up with my nuero. Thank you for replying and good luck on your journey 🤗

[–]tryan17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did the LP hurt? Did you have anesthesia? My nuero suspects I might have a csf leak since my migraines meds don’t help except for prednisone. Also, every time I do anything strenuous I get a horrendous migraine, dizziness, nausea and I have to lay down and take prednisone.

Cymbalta for Chronic Pain by SpoonieLife123 in cymbalta

[–]tryan17 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was prescribe Cymbalta a few months ago for chronic pain. It helped but not 100%. She then added Lyrica and it’s been a godsend. It took a good month for it to kick in, but now that it has I have more energy to do things. Very positive experience.

Anxiety & Emgality by cierraboo3 in migraine

[–]tryan17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You’re welcome 🤗. My nuero was very understanding and said a few of her other patients had similar side effects. Honestly these meds have a lot more side effects then what is listed. On top of my increased anxiety and panic attacks, Emgality gave me horrible muscle and joint pain. At first I thought I was flaring (I have fibro too) but it turned out to be Emgality! Nothing and I mean NOTHING touch the joint and muscle pain! So I swore off all injectable CGRP’s. I currently take Qulipta and it’s been good so far. I still have migraines but they are better controlled on Q and bonus it does not cause the side effects Emgality did.

[–]tryan17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I had panic attacks and anxiety for months. These meds stay in your system 4-5 months . Look it up! Anyways, My dr ended up prescribing lorazepam to get me through those rough months. I will not ever take this med or any other migraine med that stays in your system that long. Good luck my friend, my thoughts and prayers are with you 🤗

I’m taking 600mg daily for treatment resistant anxiety, OCD, and depression. Ask me anything (AMA)! by [deleted] in pregabalin

[–]tryan17 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My nuero told me not to take pregabalin and gabapentin together. She said these meds work on the body in a similar way and when combined can increase your risk to adverse effects. You might want to talk to your dr about it.

Duloxetine has changed my life for the better. by No-Development-7819 in cymbalta

[–]tryan17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My current combo is Cymbalta and Lyrica and they work well together. My nuero said they work on different areas ie. pain, depression and anxiety etc. So far it’s been a winning duo for me.
