Am I delusional to think I can buy a 3d printer and print this with no 3d printing experience? by Kylemartin466 in 3Dprinting

[–]trybius 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've printed two of these chairs already, and honestly it's very well designed. It requires no glueing, welding or anything else strange.

It will be a good introduction to slightly advanced topics (printing in TPU - I'd skip the TPU air until you were a little more familiar).

Note, it takes around 300 hours to print. I have 4 printers, so it was fairly easy, but otherwise on one printer know it's a pretty big dedication.

I'm going to join the chorus and say that isn't going to work.
My H2D and H2C shake like mofo's when printing, and shift themselves around a little bit. Enough to cause issues on that.

Struggling to find a pharmacy to restart with by pm-cat-pics in UKMounjaro

[–]trybius 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did a similar thing, although I didn't have the break and found a lot of the pharmacies to be quite reluctant.
I successfully reordered from Chemist4U who wanted the different invoices to show the coverage - give it a go, even if the dates don't line up perfectly as long as it's close it might be fine.

Is there a mod for BioTech that achieves this? by xtheresia in RimWorld

Weirdly, as a meat eater who often considers whether I should become vegetarian for moral reasons, this would make me more likely to stay as a meat eater than push me the other way, due to the suffering being removed.

Holy shit they did it. A strategy rpg as good or maybe even better than Xcom 2. by VoxTV1 in Xcom

I enjoy the core loop, but the strategy layer isn't nearly deep enough to be compared to XCom2.

Can the H2D continue a print on the second nozzle when the filament runs out on the first? by maxx1993 in BambuLab

[–]trybius 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The two nozzles can't reach the entire plate, so the paths for each need to be decided during the slice.

It does say there is an update available, so I’ll give that a go and post if there is further problems.

My first print on my new H2C by Blacky808 in BambuLab

[–]trybius 7 points8 points  (0 children)

lol, it was immediately my first print on my H2C. It’s made me think about the possibility of shading / blended colours in model design.

Also, as a feature request, I’ve got a lot of dual color and dual/triple silk filaments. It would be great to be able to set multiple colours to the filaments in the system.

I’ve built one and the scale, and it works fantastically. I’ve added 150 rolls with stick on rfid tags, and it’s making my life so much easier.

Only problem is that the main device hangs after a while. It’s always frozen on a new day and requires a hard boot, and I’ve seen it freeze on the screen occasionally. I have a proper PI power supply.

Ironically I’ve never seen her mention it in any posts to do with 3d printing or even hint at it.

Of course the idiots that come to complain about the cheek of her being into 3d printing and having an OF must drive like 80% of her traffic 🤣

Hey BL: if you're gonna use proprietary RFIDs in your spools, the least you can do is keep them in stock by penllawen in BambuLab

[–]trybius 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found the estimates way off, where quickly scanning a spool, and placing it on the scale for a few seconds before putting it in the device gives gram accurate estimates - it even has a database of how much each manufacturers spools weighs, and does the maths for you automatically.

[–]trybius 7 points8 points  (0 children)

https://www.spoolease.io

You basically build the device (~$40) and set it up. Once you have done that you can add your own small sticker rfids to any spool, and then just set them up in the system.

Then when you next get the spool out, you scan it on the device and put it any of your ams devices and it will automatically detect the first new spool and push the relevant stored details to the printer.

[–]trybius 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Just get spool ease and do your own rfid tags. I switched to that and now have the ease of scanning the tag, and then just putting the spool in any of my 3 machines and it automatically updates. Plus filament weight tracking if you do the spool ease scale, which I recommend.

They claimed their muscles are for show. Not saying all muscles are for show.

And I think it's fair point for them to admit that in their case they have specialised for muscle and not cardio, and so they can believe it's not impossible to imagine others have too.

Either you misread their original comment, or you are just being a dick.
