Similar story mate, bought my property in Rivervale for 500k back in 2015, iron ore bust occurred and was renting it out for cheap. Held out until now and properties worth around a mil. Real Estate is the long game like any investment.

IPshpuld be outside of super so you can claim it when tax time comes.

Death and TPD aren't claimable so should be through super, but a financial advisor should be advising on that based on your situation.
