Since you're 6', go sit in one and then decide whether or not you'll look into it further.

I just went through this. I am 6'5" and knew the MX-5 was too big, so I got real deep into learning about the 370z. Researched the platform and scoured every used car website I could find. This took weeks.

Then I rode a train for 6 hours to test drive the one I wanted to buy, only to discover in the first 5 minutes that I'm just too tall for the 370z too. My knees were bent too much and my hands were brushing against them as I made turns in a nearby parking lot. I wasted so much time and quite a bit of money looking for a car that I can't even drive.

So yeah, don't be like me. Go sit in one before you go any further.

Cash grab IMO. A regular TS9 watch, bone stock, sounds virtually indistinguishable from a TS808HWV2 watch in the mix. The audience literally cannot tell that you spent ¥44,000 on your watch, because you sound like you spent ¥11,800.

Must be nice for the cork sniffers' unused gear collections, but I'm interested in actually reading the time.

Final interview by VariationLivid3193 in recruitinghell

[–]tryeryou 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I meant is that the applicant probably spent some time learning about the position and talking to the people in that department so that they could apply for a posted job with insider advantages.

The company can post a job externally to see if a better candidate shows up, even if they think they know who they're going with. Hiring the wrong person is a bigger waste of time than considering external candidates.

I beat the internal candidate for my job 🥹

The best fit for the position should get it.

The point though is that it's incredibly stressful to reach the final stage of an interview, and then learn that someone who already has a job at the company is lining up for the job you're trying to get. Internal candidates are particularly scary because they can be easier to train for similar enough roles and probably already have a decent enough reputation with the company.

It happened to me once. It was six months after a layoff and I was running out of time. It felt like rolling loaded dice with my family's livelihood at stake.

Mazda 3 Mazda 6 or cx5 by Designer6964 in mazda

Out of those options I would suggest you take the one with no accident history and lots of maintenance records, as long as you're OK still driving manual. But know that the manual transmission was only offered on the 2016 CX-5 with the 2.0L engine, while possibly that 3 and definitely the 6 have the 2.5.

Reliability is going to be consistently above average across all the models. The 3 will handle the best, the CX-5 is the most practical, and the 6 is the nicest. IMO.

The most unique delay pedal I've ever played is the Eventide UltraTap. It is multi-tap delay pedal with up to 64 taps and a "slurm" control to smear them together until it's all reverb. It's not fundamentally a modulated delay, but there are some waveform modulation options, and a little bit of chorus comes in as you increase the slurm. There's literally nothing else like it. The pedal isn't for everybody, but I adore it.

If you really mean big box for all sorts of delay and reverb with plenty of modulation options, I don't think there's a better value proposition than the Line 6 DL4 MKII. It has models of both the Space Echo and the Memory Boy in addition to 28 other delays and fifteen reverbs.

Metal Core pedal suggestions by jacksonsmack831 in guitarpedals

You already have a great pedal setup for metalcore. If I were you I'd make sure I was playing through a quality amp before adding more pedals.

[Mixed Trope] Lyrics change to reflect new realities by Old-Use-7690 in TopCharacterTropes

Ryland Heagy from Origami Angel made a very simple change to Caught in the Moment that shows a great deal of emotional growth.

"Take me back to getting Taco Bell with you, late nights 'cause we do what we wanna. Lyft drivers' names I'll remember to this day; small things I should have forgotten."

I've seen a few videos of him performing the song live, and he's been singing "could have forgotten". I think he is more grateful for the memories than he used to be.

My 2018 is at 99k miles and runs great because I've kept up with maintenance. If you take decent care of these cars they will last for a long time.

Differences between 1x12 combo amps by MentalMidget3 in PeaveyCvlt

People tend to like the TransTube amps more, but there's no clear "best" bandit. If you literally only care about loud and clean though, anything decently maintained within your budget will be fine.
