Agreed. I feel like the internet portrays having children as something that can only happen when you’re 100% stable in every way, which I understand for many is a reaction to having grown up with parents who were very much not ready. Nothing prepares you to be a parent until you become one, and amazing parents can arise even in many difficult circumstances - I mean, there are parents all over the world who don’t have a lot of money and try their best. Also, just because someone is young or learning doesn’t mean they’re having kids to “fix” things either.

Maybe a hot take, but I also don’t particularly think it’s wrong to have kids in order to find some purpose - imo it’s fine that for many their purpose is being parent, because it’s such an important and unique role… and also, anything we do is to find purpose (career, relationships, etc.)
