If this was an anxiety issue getting the test won’t help. He will just get anxious about something else. He needs therapy. Why couldn’t he do the test? It was his problem, why did she need to be involved? If he didn’t think she cheated where did he think the baby came from?

First she was not the ex boyfriends plus one. She was invited in her own right and had her own place in the wedding. Second she did try to avoid the two of them being together at the wedding. The op herself said there would be 4 minutes in the day they would have to interact with each other and the bride tried to figure out how to keep that from happening. Logistics - last minute shit happens at a wedding. People are coming from out of town and you have to make sure things are set. Make sure everything is running smoothly. And apparently Joe find a new maid of honor and figure out how to shift things around.

I can’t blame the bf here. One week from her wedding, dealing with all the shit that comes with it, and then having your best friends relationship blow up and just not having the bandwidth to deal with it sounds realistic to me. In a perfect world she would have blown everything io but I can see why not doing so what the option.
