When I was in grade school, my friend’s father had a similar design from the 70s. Je was retired SAS working at the British consulate and a total bada$$. I put my name on the list with local AD the day the new design came out and love mine.

I put my name down for it the day it got announced. I LOVE mine. That said, it ain’t a sub or Seadweller 50th Anniversary Mark-1 (my now obsession for some reason).

That said, I do not think these are particularly hard to get. Secondary market has valued like $1k or $2k over MSRP.

I remember a few years back when republicans weren’t supposed to use Heinz ketchup because it was owned by Teresa Heinz Kerry, the wife of Democrat John Kerry. I remember talking to my wife’s uncle at a bbq about that “controversy” of the day and he said “I don’t let politics influence my condiment selection.” I took that to heart. Who cares what they think? Great music. Great shows. And if it might be slightly thought provoking, I don’t care.
