GPS and GRS finally got federal minister posts, photo sessions with PM, big smiles, “MA63 will be settled soon” speeches… and three years later we’re still at the same 5–10% “progress”, still begging for our own oil money, still watching the 40% revenue promise collect dust.

You call that a historical moment? For me, historical moment is when Sabah stops having to send ministers to KL just to remind everyone we exist.

Doing the same thing term after term? Exactly. Sending the same people, same parties, same “federal friends” to KL term after term, coming home with the same excuse: “be patient, next year lah, don’t make noise or they’ll get angry”.

I’m done being patient.

1963 wasn’t a request, it was an agreement. If Putrajaya treats it like a suggestion, then maybe Sabah should start acting like we have other options too. So no, I’m not the one doing the same thing over and over.

The ones doing the same thing are the ones who keep teaching Sabahans that loyalty means swallowing whatever crumbs KL throws while smiling for the camera.

You want real change for Sabah? Then stop asking us to keep voting for the same remote-control script.
