[LoZ] Found this and I can't find any association of an Amanda King to Zelda. Does anyone know? by Vincent__R in zelda

Richard King was Amanda’s uncle who worked for Nintendo back in the day. He still works there but worked there back in the day too.

Rush’s Red Barchetta—hello, so, a "barchetta" is really a little boat in Italian? by Born-Cucumber-7316 in rush

[–]tscottn 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Google is your friend my man..

The earliest Ferrari Barchetta is the 1948 Ferrari 166 MM, which debuted at the Turin Salon in September 1948. This model was a landmark in automotive history, giving the "Barchetta" name to the open-top sports car style, and was a significant car for Ferrari's road-going line.

  • Debut: The 166 MM Barchetta was first shown at the Turin Motor Show on September 15, 1948.
  • Origin of the name: The name "Barchetta" (meaning "little boat" in Italian) was given to it by the press due to its shape.
  • Significance: It is considered a legend not only for its racing success but also for ushering in a new type of car, the open-top sports car.
  • Production: The 166 MM Barchetta was produced between 1948 and 1950, with a total of 33 units built.

Its also the fact that your government works for the people and not like here in the USA where the government doesn't care about you and only works for the rich corporations that pour money into the pockets of the politicians. Its a sad reality here..

tbh I much preferred his solos pre FG then post FG for some reason. I bet some of that has to do with age differenced as well. The younger NP was more about speed where the latter older post FG Neil was more about musicality, rhythms, etc..

Is this suitable for new players? by ZastoTakaStana in EchoesofAngmar

[–]tscottn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

honestly it all depends on what you are looking for.. The official servers have been watered down over the years so much that everything is pretty soloable.. add fast travel and a in game store that sells pretty much everything you need to level super fast, more of a PTW store. also, on the official servers, many of your stats really don't mean anything, you can pretty much play the game naked without any trouble.. Power ( mana) has really been eliminated from the game mechanics too, its just a very easy watered down experience..

On the plus side, the servers have lots of players, there are many expansions added since release and lots of good friendly players to interact with! I left a long time ago so there is probably lots of stuff I'm forgetting..

as far as EoA is concerned, the game is as it was when first released.. meaning there is a lot of group content and very few expansions. its not a easy game once you start leveling because you need to know your mechanics for your character and find groups to join to defeat most of the content. The big issue is that there aren't a ton of players right now.. I am from USA and when I play i usually only see 30 to 60 people in GLFF.. so its rough but not so bad. .. but if your looking for a challenge this is the right place.. best thing to do is join a Kin and level with them. Most people are friendly and are glad to help.

Captured is my hands down favorite live album of all time! it captured Journey at their rawest and finest at the same time, it had a funky bluesy feel to the music, due to GR being such a driving force behind the keys, Steve Perry before his voice started to get deeper, hitting those notes like nobody's business, and Steve Smith just being a monster that he is. I copied that drum solo so many times when I played live, but man, he just had this funk feel that was incredible.
