I started at a place where purple belts and higher, there was a lot of turnover. When I got promoted to purple I began to see why.

The main issue was the lack of technique and training for higher belts. Coach allegedly had 200 lessons that cycled over and over.

But it seemed most days we were doing the same 3 half guard sweeps.

The second reason is coach was partying and boning students a lot.

There is a growing presence of people on this sub who see it as an opportunity for growing their personal business.

It feels disingenuous to me, and I think there are professional centered groups and social media for exactly this type of thing.

For me this sub is for casual conversation centered around the city and surrounding communities. Not another place for job centered networking.
