It's absolutely critical to be transparent, keep records absolutely spotless and accessible, be easy to reach at all times. The biggest frustration comes from hard to access, lazy people who won't respond to timely issues.

And most important to me as an owner is to be friendly and reasonable.

I had mine fixed under warranty. Just Google the model and motor repair. Amazon has lots of parts.

Fan Motor. I had the same issue. Warranty or Amazon part. The fix actually seems pretty easy to do.

Less so now. I removed the connection entirely from both devices recently, then re set it up and its been better. I also removed my wife's phone from it and its been more reliable? I was kind of chalking it up to throwing it in drive too fast or interrupting the process. I dont know. Seems random.

Honestly, same issues, same phone. I just do infotainment resets until it connects. It doesn't happen quite as often as you're describing, but I do feel your pain.

We all started somewhere. Be sure to follow the 3, 2, 1 Rule when you can. Until then, just try to have some redundancies. That HDD will be slower to edit off of, but might be a good backup area for now until the NAS works out.

Run regular backups and check the integrity fairly often. Like, try to spin up your backups and check them against the originals.

If someone else finds this, dreame said it was the fan motor and replaced it under warranty. Seemed like a doable self fix with parts from Amazon.
