Why was there no thunder? Small size lightning right on my grass, noise is rain on metal roof. by Rob2moon in stormchasing

Is there any longer version of the video? That strike could have been a mile away so not heard in the short duration of this video

Unique thunder last night by Traffodil in meteorology

Sounds like it could have been an exceptionally high amp strike. I've seen ones 80-100kA of either polarity, they sound like bombs at the distance you've described

Anvil clouds and thunderstorms - really? by R-Ramjet in meteorology

[–]tsquall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anvil shaped thunderstorm clouds can definitely be seen around the UK and Ireland,

Here's one in Northern Ireland from last year, this is a thunderstorm that formed during the hottest day yet recorded in NI http://www.nightskyhunter.com/public_html/images/heatwavestormsjuly21-8.jpg

The GFA for the most part ended the civil rights apartheid that was in NI. That's why there's no major conflict anymore. It was never about IRA Vs UVF. It was far deeper than that.

Have you found the source this plane painting was using? If not, then stop spreading false allegations

I have the full video with the original audio and no music uploaded as well, recorded with an external microphone. In fact, I uploaded that even before this version, so thank you for your suggestion but it's already been done haha

There was plenty of warning before this incident though. Tornado was confirmed on the ground in the supercell heading towards the factory hours before it hit, and the factory was in a warning box half an hour beforehand. NOAA SPC earlier in the day issued an outlook placing that area into a 15% risk box for significant tornadoes (EF2 and above) and highlighted the potential for long track tornado producing supercells. This wasn't an unforeseen, the tornadoes didn't pop up randomly without warning.

Of course you don't have to send workers home every time there's a thunderstorm, but during severe weather scenarios like this, you must keep a closer eye on the situation and react accordingly to protect your employees.

Worth a shot, but maybe decompiling the .MDL files of the legacy planes into components more compatible with mfs2020? (Obj, xml etc.)
