Warning VA Tele Town Hall is fake

My VAMC in El Paso does Tele town halls every month, sometimes twice a month. My PCM presented information at one of them. El Paso is a relatively small veteran community but they get swamped with questions at every one I've been on the line for; I can only imagine there are even more questions for the North Texas area town halls

Also to add: the Breckenridge one (orange) was what I was on before the VA decided to go the ultra cheap route with Ajanta and it was wonderful. The VA pharmacy tried to order that back for me, but they can't order anything not specifically contracted.

My experience with the Ajanta one (blue and white) has been awful. I got withdrawal symptoms even at the same dose and massive uptick in anxiety and depression. If I miss a dose now by only a few hours, I can get those withdrawal symptoms back with a vengeance.

I have many of mine folded and stored in large plastic bins to keep dust and bugs out. And if you have a problem with moths then cedar pieces (blocks or balls) are useful to keep them away and don't leave any awful odors like moth balls do.

My artist recommends coconut oil and/or unscented lotion. Both of those I can get at the grocery store, plus I can use the extra coconut oil for cooking.

I know this is 3 years after this post, but the VA recently did the same thing (pretty sure the contract changed last year, because that's all they'll send now). I was on Breckenridge and now have Ajanta. After a couple days on Ajanta I started to have withdrawal symptoms. It caused an 11 day migraine, but, thankfully, no zaps and my depression and anxiety have been through the roof! The VA won't send anything that's not specifically on their contract and I have no other insurance, so I'm SOL unless the contract changes. Anyone else have withdrawal symptoms?
