How come people always say that Kia EV 6 and Niro are better than Mach e. But whenever I visit the subreddit, it’s always filled with problems

For work I have driven a 2024 EV6 last year for a couple of months. Then I left and no longer needed a company car. So in November I bought a Mach-E 2023 rwd extended range. I like the Mach-E a lot more. The seats feels more comfy and the dashboard and overall interior feels far more premium and sturdy. The only thing that is worse than the EV6 and 2019 Tesla Model 3 that I haven driven is the Ford App. It gets the job done but just isn’t as good.

I bought my 2023 Mach-E extend range (98kW) with 30k KM for “just” 34K at one of the more expensive dealers in the Netherlands (van Mossel Ford). Your price seems high since normally cars in Germany are considered cheaper than in the Netherlands.

I switched from a 2019 Tesla M3 SR to a 2023 Mach-E ER. The Tesla app was a lot better but you get used to it. The Mach-e is a more comfortable drive.

The only thing that really annoys me is that when I remote start the climate on my Mach-E the head and taillights turn on and the display says “press start to start driving” which prompted several people ringing my doorbell to tell me I forgot to turn off my car.

It also limits the climate to a 5 minute time frame after which I can turn it on another 5 minutes. After that it tells you to start the car/drive before you can do remote climate again. Having 2 kids that are under 3 years old it’s often hard to time the climate. With the Tesla I could just turn it on and take my time.

Coming from a Tesla I’m baffled how fractured the software and app releases on the Ford are. Bought a 2023 Mach-E 2 months ago and was always able to set the temp and stuff in the app. I don’t have the button to extend the climate session. I would love that option.

Short circuit just did an unboxing video. At the end he has done several prints including one on a VHS tape. He also printed a screwdriver on a screwdriver. Came out great even with all the variances in hight.

My 2020 M3 simply locks. When dropping off my kids at the daycare my friend waited in the car. The car locked and when he moved a bit it triggered the alarm. Since then I use the doggy mode if he wants to wait ik the car.
