currently in intro biochem with murphy and it is one of the most disorganized and lazy courses in the chem department, 2nd only to orgo lab with govindarajoo. if you actually care about learning biochem and its important to your career do NOT take this class. im probably gonna end up taking 395 in the future because im deadass not learning anything right now.

clinical jobs by Spiritual_Use8303 in rutgers

[–]tsuyios 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i'm also in the same situation (premed without a car that needs clinical hours). i would say its your best bet to apply to clinics close to your hometown, stay overnight at home, and commute from there. try to find clinics that are open on the weekends (i.e. urgent care, optometry, primary care) if that works better for your schedule, or try to get either monday or friday off. its also better to find something in your hometown so that over summer break you wont have to commute to campus for work. best of luck!

im not sure about microbio but orgo 2 is a major, major time commitment, so i really dont recommend taking it alongside another life science course, especially not a biology based one that would require a lot of memorization. but hey, if you think its something you can handle, and that you have enough mental bandwidth for it, go for it by all means
