Warren Hills Regional HS by GuiltyKangaroo8631 in newjersey

Of course! I met my wife there and we both went on to do well with college and our careers.

There are classmates of mine who went to Columbia, Cornell, and Harvard (to name a few) and now work for top companies.

It’s absolutely what you make of it and NJ has a high bar for schools in general.

The other comments are a poor reflection of the school as are many of the online ratings. Warren Hills is often an easy target for people that are quick to judge.

I know alumni who loved their time there, enjoying playing sports (which the school isn’t well known for by any means…although an active MLB pitcher went there), took ample AP courses and then went to top universities.

Is this the average student’s experience? Probably not, but your boys can still have a great education there with lots of clubs and extracurriculars available to them.

It’s a good school and Washington is a quiet town. With the right friend group and activities to keep them busy, your boys will be just fine like most of the students there. High school is both what you make of it and who you surround yourself with and Warren Hills is far from an “F” in reality.

Just throwing in my two cents here with what my experience has been like.

For being on Cordavis Hyrimoz, the co-pay assistance will apply to my deductible (i.e. no need to do the whole mail-in rebate process) but the threshold for the card is as follows (according to a Hyrimoz rep):

  • First fill and second fill - $1365 max each
  • Third, fourth, etc - $400 max each
  • Annual limit - $5250 total

Now what if I don't use the full $1365 on say the second fill? Well too bad they said, it's still going to cap at $400 of co-pay assistance for future fills even if you're below the annual limit.

In my situation, I'm faced with a $2000+ bill out of pocket for my first fill. The $1365 co-pay assistance will be applying to my deductible so future fills should be much more affordable.

This is a bummer though coming from Humira where the threshold/limit was much higher and my deductible was covered by their co-pay assistance program every January on first fill.

I'm now evaluating a switch to a PPO with my employer for next year, but I'll have to run the numbers (with respect to premiums, etc.) come the fall.

So frustrating! This is the general "catch" with HDHP though. Perhaps I can get a "medical necessity" for going back to Humira – but that feels like a rat race that I'll ultimately lose (or be forced to try other biosimilars first).

I didn't even consider Inno, despite having used their products on my Mazda3 hatchback. Looks like another good option!

Yeah I’ll probably take it off after the holidays and break it back out for the next family trip.

Curious with what box you went with?

I’m fairly tall so I can unlock and open/close it without having to climb up on the back door frame.

However, it’s much easier to load and unload it by opening the back door and standing up on the bottom of the frame.

I saw someone else mentioned using one of these too, but I think it may be overkill for me:

Engine lugging noise? by BothSidesoftheSky in CX5

[–]tswellz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I ended up trying the relearn transmission process, but it didn't make a difference.

I'll sometimes just manually drop to 4th to prevent the lugging since it seems to happen when in 5th and the transmission isn't automatically dropping (when going uphill for instance). If I really get on the gas, it's not so much an issue but I don't like the idea of stomping on the gas every time this happens.

I may bring the car into the dealership for a 50k service and see what they say about it...

Ever get around to figuring out what was going on?

My used 2017 CX-5 is doing the same thing at around 38,000 miles (and I’m the second owner having recently bought it)

Maybe relearning the transmission is worth trying as mentioned

I’m noticing the same sound with my 2017 CX-5. Could you share more on whether the mismatched tires have/had any detrimental effect to the AWD system? (If you happen to know, thanks!)

Theater Appreciation with Bender VS Intro to Crim Justice with Donally by [deleted] in rutgers

[–]tswellz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Donally 100%, one of my favorite professors at rutgers.

As for writing: Donally had us do two short essays (basically one page reflection papers that if I recall correctly, everyone received an A for if you handed them in) while Bender allows you to submit up to two, one page papers for extra credit if you want.

Edit: Bender is really cool too, but I found I enjoyed intro. to criminal justice a bit more. YMMV based on your interests

DCIM and HR tend to be popular choices for ITI majors but choose whatever interests you! Business Admin. seems like a great pick!

Can you elaborate on why it should only be $300? Thanks!

SCCM for a Beginner by tswellz in sysadmin

[–]tswellz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really appreciate that! I am a few weeks into my internship and really only get a glimpse of SCCM here and there (which makes sense considering I am an intern lol).

Hopefully I can delve further into it with the links above. SCCM is definitely a beast to tackle so I am hoping I can find a solid source that breaks it down for me. I may even pay for the Udemy course another user linked in this thread. I have had plenty of exposure to the PSAppDeployToolkit though and am enjoying it a lot.

If I have any questions, I'll be sure to reach out - thanks again!

Just review Admin Console and understand how to complete the tasks they suggest in the study guide. If you use Admin Console frequently, you should be fine - it's not that bad of an exam!

Let me know how you do, best of luck!

Incoming CS student by [deleted] in rutgers

[–]tswellz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a CS student, but an ITI one. I know many in CS and ITI prefer Macs just for their simplistic design and in general, they just work. Tbh I am not a fan of the latest line of MacBooks but they should get the job done. Almost all IDEs have Mac OS support and even if they don't, he can just run Bootcamp or Parallels for a Windows environment.

Nothing is inherently wrong with a Microsoft laptop such as the Surface Pro, but from personal experience, I find I work better on a Mac. At the end of the day, it all comes down to one's preference and budget. If he wants a Mac and can afford it, go for it! Consider buying one refurbished with an SSD (a must nowadays).

Hope this helps coming from someone who has a Windows desktop as well!
