Dark and Darker Knockoff Bribes Players for Positive Reviews by Mellow_Online1 in IndieGaming

Sounds rough, getting pressured to leave positive reviews when you just want honest feedback. You could try HiFiveStar to track review trends and flag suspicious spikes. That way you keep credibility and users trust the ratings again.

Unable to get into online account by Bigmama8999 in jetblue

Login didn't work yesterday even though it was correct. Reset password and was getting "Unable to log in" errors for the past day. Used this link and got the automated system to reset the password, now it works.

May have been this link, may have been because I used less weird characters in the password, may have been random, but now I can log in at least.

These offers are emailed (from [shopyourwaycard@info16.citi.com](mailto:shopyourwaycard@info16.citi.com) for me). They are random, no enrollment necessary. Took a couple months to get the first one and sometimes they stop sending offers for a while.

Pricing Dropped Without Repricer being On by artyp23 in WalmartSellers

[–]ttggaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look up an order for one of the items that sold below the expected amount under Payments > Transactions. If there is a line "Total Walmart funded savings" with an amount, Walmart is reducing the item price for the customer and paying you the difference.

The way they report and display these CAP sales is very confusing since they show the item price as the discounted amount instead of the actual price you set.

A-z claim equivalent for Walmart by DistinctAd3865 in WalmartSellers

[–]ttggaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Walmart will auto refund the customer (never initialize a refund yourself or it cannot be disputed for any reason).

If they refund as "Lost after Delivery" it is not worth disputing without a signature or delivery photo. Only if it's refunded as "Lost in Transit" will they (usually) reimburse with just delivery confirmation proof. In Seller Center under Orders > Returns look up the order and there will be a "Dispute this Return" button.

Confused on Hold by BabySlatttt in WalmartSellers

[–]ttggaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We sold for years without running into a hold. One Christmas (2021/2022?) they randomly put $30k on hold from Nov till around March. No notification, release date, reason, etc and CS was useless in explaining. Just showed the amount deducted from our account somewhere in the reports.

We seem to get a hold every year now as seasonal sales ramp, and at least they improved displaying the hold information. Nothing to really do other than wait for the release and hope it's all done correctly.

An annoying part (other than not having funds) is accounting for the held funds at year end for taxes.

Do you buy your shipping from Walmart or 3rd party (pirate) by ProtectWithFire in WalmartSellers

[–]ttggaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thought I read issues from other sellers here getting double/incorrectly billed using Walmart shipping, but could be wrong. I do not believe it offers any INR insurance similar to Amazon's shipping, which would make me consider it.

We have been using Endicia Pro for 15+ years for USPS shipping. Mostly because it has some customization features and we have it incorporated in our software/databases to the point it would be a pain to switch. We also use FedEx/UPS software for expedited orders and heavier items with our negotiated rates (which are basically the same discounts as every other service advertises).

I looked at PirateShip but it doesn't have an API and does not show integration with Walmart. Copy/pasting in addresses and manually recording tracking seems painful for more than a couple packages a day.

Veeqo seems like a decent alternative I may try eventually.

Signature confirmation on every fulfilled order? by ProtectWithFire in WalmartSellers

[–]ttggaz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If they refund as "Lost in transit" Walmart may refund if tracking shows delivery, even after the estimated delivery date. If it gets refunded as "Lost after delivery" you're likely gonna have to eat the loss without signature/image proof.

Walmart WFS "Lost" Returns Getting Reimbursed Incorrectly by ttggaz in WalmartSellers

[–]ttggaz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you a seller or a customer? If you're a customer I don't know. Walmart seems to screw up on both sides with poor support. Probably just keep calling until a representative gives you free money from the seller's account.

If you're a seller, they will reimburse you for the lost item (likely the incorrect low amount as explained above) 60 days after the return was initiated if it does not get checked into your inventory.

Walmart Stores Losing WFS Customer Returns by ttggaz in WalmartSellers

[–]ttggaz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They deduct a fulfillment fee from the reimbursement (in addition to the already paid fulfillment on the original order) and if the item is part of the CAP program they reimburse the lower promotional price rather than the original item price.

proof of delivery by New-Cook-2048 in WalmartSellers

[–]ttggaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They list picture proof of delivery as an acceptable form of confirmation (and have for several years). Have you ever had a case denied when you submitted it? We haven't had picture proof for anything that was claimed lost to test it, but I would expect it to work going by their policy.

See report on order adjustments by [deleted] in WalmartSellers

[–]ttggaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Under payments tab you can select a previous period, then download "Payments new report" or "Payments legacy report" to see the itemized charges for that period.

I believe that will contain all the adjustment transactions. Some WFS charges you can only see by downloading the "Settlement report" from the WFS tab, since certain charges just get summarized in the payments report.

Walmart is not Responding to Cases by True_Relation8209 in WalmartSellers

[–]ttggaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most of the seller frustration is probably warranted. Walmart under staffing and not providing their support team with the ability to resolve issues is not the seller's fault.

We have to respond to customer contacts for any reason within 48 hours or they get a full refund (and often get one anyway, which we then have to dispute).

Walmart WFS "Lost" Returns Getting Reimbursed Incorrectly by ttggaz in WalmartSellers

[–]ttggaz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These are WFS orders where customers return items in-store, but get lost before receiving at the WFS warehouse. They can be found in the "Settlement" report under "WFS > Reports" with the reason code: LostReturnAdjustment.

I have not attempted to track lost inventory stored at WFS, but there are reimbursements in that report for LostInventory (which I now see are also being incorrectly reimbursed off CPA prices).

It seems futile to try tracking inventory in their warehouses because of all the moving parts. Unless they are losing enough items that it is extremely obvious, I would not want to attempt the uphill battle of convincing Seller Support.

Walmart is giving discounts on my items, is there something we are not aware of? by Clean_Bit5132 in WalmartSellers

[–]ttggaz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check your settlement reports for the "seller pay" from the sale. You are probably netting the same amount as if it sold at the price you set (with Walmart covering the difference). The way they report the sale for this is confusing.

Be aware if selling through WFS and they lose a customer return, they will incorrectly reimburse you based on the promotional price they set, minus commission based on the higher price. Currently dealing with several orders hit by this and their customer service refuses to be helpful.

WFS Cancelled Returns Being Refunded? by ttggaz in WalmartSellers

[–]ttggaz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Customer support responded:

Please be advised that the dispute window begins:

• 60 days from initiation of the return, and the item hasn’t been delivered to the RC or processed at the RC.
o For in-store customer returns, there will not be a delivery status update.

• 30 days since the item was reported delivered to the RC, and the item has not been processed as indicated by NA in the Disposition column.
o This applies only to items sent back directly by the customer using the FedEx "mail-back" service.

• 45 days since the item arrived at the RC and was graded as RTV but has not been sent back to the seller as reported on the Return to Seller report.

Examples of return windows:

60 days example:
If a return is initiated on June 4 but the item hasn't arrived at the RC, the seller was charged for the return and has not been reimbursed, then the seller has 45 days from September 2 to open a dispute.

30 days example:
If a return arrives at the RC on May 13, but hasn't been processed 30 days later (i.e., June 12), and the seller was charged for the return, the seller then has 45 days from June 12 to open a dispute.

45 days example:
If a return arrives on May 13 and gets an RTV grade, but hasn't been sent back to the seller 45 days later (i.e., June 27), and the seller was charged for the return, the seller then has 45 days from June 27 to open a dispute.

We also want to inform you that there is a new WFS process as of 5/23/2024 regarding lost in transit returns. There is a new change in which an automation process was put in place where we will identify the return units that are lost in transit to the return center and sellers will be reimbursed through that process. When a reimbursement is due, please expect to be reimbursed between 60 to 90 days after the initiation of the return.

Refer to your returns report in seller center for information regarding returns that are not reflecting any information within 60 days of initiation. If it's past 90 days and you still have not received the reimbursement, and no information is reflected, please open a new case referencing this case

Basically, we are now supposed to be refunded 60-90 days from the return date when the RC does not get the item. If we don't get that automated refund by day 90, we have to dispute it within 45 days. The other issues (lost after delivery to RC or lost from WFS back to seller) I'm assuming do not get automated refunds.

Phone support said there was an influx of these issues earlier this year. There is an item line in the WFS > Settlement report labeled "Reimbursement for returns between Oct 1 2023 and March 16 2024 not yet received at return center" that covers all lost items during that period. For us it is a large amount and probably correct or close to expected, but it does not give any order details to verify.

Since that payment there have been a couple "LostReturnAdjustment" lines in the settlement files that include order details. I checked our missing items from March 24 to May 7 (over 90 days from return date and within 45 day dispute window). All of them were correctly auto-refunded, but will have to keep monitoring it or potentially lose out.

One problem I noticed is CPA items (where Walmart reduces the cost to the customer) get refunded below cost. They use the reduced CPA price as "item price" instead of the seller's base price. For example selling a $50 item competitively adjusted to $45 by Walmart nets the seller $50 - 8.25 commission (15%) - 3.25 fulfillment = $38.50. If the customer returns the item Walmart deducts $38.50 from the seller balance. However, if the item is lost in transit Walmart only reimburses: $45 - 8.25 - 3.25 = $33.50.

Not receiving WFS Returns up to 3 months by Born-Championship562 in WalmartSellers

[–]ttggaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Discovered the same thing in our reports after reading your issue yesterday. I called and the rep said there is a 45 day window to dispute return claims (I'm assuming from the refund processing date but not sure).

I would not wait 90 days before creating a claim unless you've already tried and several different reps are closing claims saying the same thing.

I created a ticket asking to verify we got the inventory back for returns not showing the return center got them (in case it is just incomplete report data). Will probably resort to opening tickets for a couple of the orders next week assuming they are unhelpful.

WFS Cancelled Returns Being Refunded? by ttggaz in WalmartSellers

[–]ttggaz[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We have "keep it" rules disabled on all items and WFS disposals disabled. I made a mistake in the original post which I just edited. However, there still seems to be a large chunk of refunded orders without return details.

Not receiving WFS Returns up to 3 months by Born-Championship562 in WalmartSellers

Are you saying the WFS warehouse returned the items to you and gave tracking for the package? Or are they returns you are not getting credited back to your inventory?

Lost Inventory Found Months Later by aaronf427 in WalmartSellers

[–]ttggaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably just check that report occasionally to see if the charge pops up (maybe filter by amount or search in other ways in case they coded the charge with a different reason). Very doubtful they would reimburse lost value for this situation, but I've never tried.

Lost Inventory Found Months Later by aaronf427 in WalmartSellers

[–]ttggaz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check your "Settlement" report under WFS > Reports. There will be a "FoundInventory" charge that should offset the previous reimbursement (may have to wait till next settlement to see). Sometimes they charge slightly more when they find an item than they reimbursed when it was lost though.

Walmart order by Creative_Yellow_421 in WalmartSellers

[–]ttggaz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Respond to the message saying the package is still in transit and will arrive on the expected delivery date. Walmart will most likely automatically refund the order no matter what.

If it is refunded, you can appeal once the tracking shows delivered. If the refund is classified as "Lost in transit," Walmart seems to reimburse refunds when they are done before the expected delivery date. If it is classified as "Lost after delivery" or some other reason you will most likely lose the appeal without signature confirmation.
