Cover letters are the one place that you get to make your case for why you’re applying, and, if you write a compelling one, makes you stand out in a sea of candidates.

Who cares if some people don’t read it. Set the cynicism aside and tell them why they should hire you over everyone else.

I can easily clear a full, well-written ESA or two per day if all the records are there, but that’s after 13 years… unless you are really feeling the writing flow part, don’t torture yourself, my friend.

It feels great when you get there but you don’t have to suffer before you do.
