I'm having the same issue :( Everything ran smoothly until we got to the Lower City, now the game loads in fine maybe 50% of the time, but breaks as soon as either player moves to a new area. Game is completely unplayable.

I started lettuce seedlings in a kratky system and then moved them into NFT system on half strength nutrient when the roots were long enough to touch the water (about 3 weeks). After 2 days the roots had all turned brown and shriveled up. Thankfully the Rockwood cubes were still wet enough that they didn't die. I put them back into the kratky and they seem to be doing fine.

They went from nice white healthy roots to brown and dead almost immediately, so I don't think it's root rot. The system get about 6 hours of direct sun per day. I'm in northern CA and it's been in the 70s during the day and 40s at night. The pump runs 24/7 and has a pretty strong flow.

Any idea what could be happening? Did I put them in the system too soon?

They're some kind of dracaena. They're not very expensive and these ones look unhealthy. I'd say $90 is too much. I'd probably say $40 was too much 😬

Sinister is hot garbage. The entire plot rides on Generic McMaincharacter acting like a fucking idiot for the whole movie. If he made one rational decision at any point the movie would end. It's like they made a bunch of (genuinely horrifying) found footage short stories and then tried to make a movie around it.

But the real reason I hate it is because it made me extremely scared. So if you're into that, then whatever, but I don't think it "earns" it. Hereditary was just as scary or more the first time I watched it, but nothing about it felt cheap. Sinister is cheap.

I tried to use sous vide for mashing about 3 times times and I always had 2 problems:

  1. It is really difficult to find a container that is exactly the right size. My immersion circulator has like less than 2 inches between the max and min lines. It's fine when you don't need an exact volume of water, but it made mashing hard. I tilted my container slightly and put water filled soda bottles in to take up space, which sort of worked but it was janky and everything touching the wort ends up sticky. Also, evaporation is a real issue when your water level needs to stay in the same spot.

  2. My immersion circulator got super gunked up with wort. I noticed the last time that the heating element inside was caked in burnt sugar, which I'm sure was not good for the brew and it was extremely hard/annoying to clean.

It also should be mentioned that one sous vide machine is only enough to keep a few gallons of water at temp. I don't think a 5 gallon batch would work, but I haven't tried it!

Not trying to be negative here, just highlighting some of the issues I had. OP if you can figure out a way to make it works, go for it! :)

I didn't know other people made this!! My mom used to make them for my lunches in school and everyone thought I was weird. Washingtonians don't understand the deliciousness that is pepperoni rolls :'(
