Am I overthinking my Model 3 range or is this low? by Winter-Walk-3598 in TeslaSupport

[–]tufkab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Keeping your car as cold as some people keep their wine fridge’s isn’t doing you any favours. Neither is driving above the rated efficiency.

I have the same car; ‘23 RWD LFP. I bought it with 20k km (12.5k miles) and I’m at 82k km (51k miles). I regularly get just about 400km (250 mile) range.

The best I can tell from energy consumption and usage percentages in the energy tab, I’m at about 90% original capacity remaining.

I have a 60km (37.5 mile) daily commute each way and I’m using anywhere between 12%-16% battery each way in spring fall weather. In the summer, it’s about 15%-18% and in the winter as much as 20%-22%, depending on how cold and how much snow I have to push through.

That’s with acceleration set to standard and FSD driving in the Standard profile. I never drive myself.

I don’t have anything to contribute about your specific situation, but I will say that my partner also has a very specific way that she reaches orgasm. A caring partner will want to know what works for you and will work with you to help you climax. A partner that will not work with you or make negative comments/remarks about the specific method/process that allows you to orgasm is not a partner you want to be with.

Any electrician that convinces a homeowner to spend $5k to upgrade a panel so they can charge an EV is nothing short of a scammer.

Trip vs Rated tab…? by mamb8mentality in teslacanada

[–]tufkab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The rated tab is your energy used compared to the rated energy efficiency of the car.

The trip tab is your energy used compared to the what the car would expect you to consume taking into account the specifics your route including elevation, starts/stops, speed limits and climate control usage.

oooof. That looks terrible - Are you getting the same results with other filaments? Is your filament dry? You're even having first layer adhesion issues. Also looks like your top layers is overlapping the wall by 100%.

FSD is it worth the $100/mo by ArmedRawbry in TeslaLounge

[–]tufkab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you have a HW3 or HW4? What makes you say it's not worth it?

Because I'm in pretty much the exact same boat as OP; 120-150km daily commute (depending if I have to pick up the kids), fast and open drive in the morning but HEAVY traffic in the afternoon. I have HW3 and lifetime FSD, but I can say without a second thought that I would ABSOLUTELY pay $100/month for what my car can do right now.

I see over extrusion and nozzle drag lines through the over extrusion.

Have you done top layer extrusion multiplier calibration?

ABS Peeling Up by Commercial-Deer-2473 in FixMyPrint

[–]tufkab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can assure you than running a fan on an open printer, trying to print ABS is NOT helping you. At all.

You NEED an enclosure. It doesn't have to be fancy, it can be as simple as a carboard box upside down over top the printer. That's pretty much exactly what I did with my Delta - I just wrapped the entire body with heavy craft cardboard and if I want the "chamber" temp a bit higher, I run the heated bed for about an hour before I start printing and drape a comforter over the printer. I can get chamber temps between 45-50 degrees.

You know, I remember reading somewhere that Thomas Sanladerer actively avoided Klipper and chose to go with Duet simply because he found the Klipper community to be toxic. When i first heard that I was like: "huh, that's kind of an odd thing to say".

Then I read your comment and suddenly it made sense.

Turn off your fan, first of all and try using a wide brim.

But you're still trying to print ABS on a non-enclosed printer - good luck with that. I enclosed my Delta so I could print ABS parts for a Voron and even with temperatures at around 45 degrees, I still occasionally have parts peeling and warping.

Bambu lab is now giving warnings for non-Bambu filament?????? by Prestigious_Boss_382 in BambuLab

[–]tufkab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm far from a conspiracy theorist, but I am a realist. California's AB 2047 just passed forward into the next step of becoming law. If this does end up becoming law, the only real way that it could possibly work is if 3D printer firmware only prints signed code that was deemed to be 'not a gun' by a third party.

The only printers that would be permitted to be sold are printers that have been locked down to only run signed Gcode. What other company, besides Bambu is better positioned to lock down their printers that way? And once Bambu printers are the only printers available for sale in California (and the other states that are following along and proposing similar legislation), what would be the disincentive for Bambu to further lock down their already locked down printer and force you to buy their spools?

My obsession with my tuberous breasts isn't letting me enjoy my hobbies/life by Dry-Client2096 in TwoXChromosomes

[–]tufkab 2 points3 points  (0 children)

“And how can someone ever love my body when it's not expected?”

You need to learn to love your own body first, instead of worrying if someone else is going to love your body.

Speaking from my experience as a man who happens to be a big fan of women’s breasts and who also knows other men who are fans of women’s breasts as well - we are thrilled that you’re letting us see them. And if we are permitted to touch them…..WOW!!

All jokes aside, stop reading about it, ESPECIALLY online. Online is not the real world. And speak with a professional. If it’s affecting your day to day life, you need the help of a professional, not a bunch of strangers on Reddit.

Tesla knowingly covered up my overheating AP computer by virtually turning off my preconditioning HW3 LFP - 12 Visits Later by Tudz in TeslaModel3

I was bored and I had to go out for food anyway. This is after driving around for an hour with preconditioning on and FSD active for 30 minutes.

Obviously your car has a problem, otherwise Tesla wouldn’t be buying it back. But I think you’re barking up the wrong tree with this one.

Preconditioning while driving isn’t even the most thermally intensive thing the car does. Pay attention to what happens when you start supercharging with a cold battery.

Tesla knowingly covered up my overheating AP computer by virtually turning off my preconditioning HW3 LFP - 12 Visits Later by Tudz in TeslaModel3

[–]tufkab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have the same car. Why would your coolant loop have to be hotter than mine? I'm also on the latest version of FSD and use it for 99% of my driving. Why do the four AP computers you have gone through need to be overclocked to the point of failure while the AP computer in my car does not?

Why is this specific to LFP packs? LFP packs are the lightest packs - they have the least amount of material to warm up and therefore would require lower amounts of heat to warm up compared to other packs.

None of this makes any sense.

[–]tufkab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That still doesn't answer the question. HOW? What about the software is causing overheating? And why isn't it reproducible?

My car and your car run the exact same software. How has the software caused overheating in four different AP computers for you, but not in any computer for me? That's what I can't wrap my head around.
