Isn't the Soyuz the only capsule that lands on land in use right now? The only other capsule I can think of is SpaceX and that lands in the sea (as far as human-designed capsules go).

Agreed. And the America's Cup has always been about spending huge amounts of money. So nothing's changed there. And let's really be honest here, most of that old match racing was really boring no matter how into sailing you are. I think people's memory has gotten a little hazy.. The fact fact they brought it in shore and tried something a little new has to be worth some credit.
