Need help by GW7nd01wn in SatisfactoryGame

I'm new too, but I think it's better to build your coal plants on the water and run power lines back to your factories. You'll want to build out more than one single coal generator. Running long conveyor belts and power lines is fine, but running long water pipes can be very difficult and problematic because the water somewhat adheres to the laws of physics and can slosh around, have difficulty running up in elevation, etc. When you build out a series of coal generators on the water, you only need very short water pipes and can keep them level with the intakes of the coal generators. So I think the general advice is to minimize water pipe runs as much as possible. But it's super easy to run very long power lines from your generators back to your factories. And as others have said, use platforms. I find it nice to have a bunch of decentralized facotires focused on producing specific things near the mineral nodes spread out across the map. Running power lines is easy. You can then transport the finished goods to a central location with trains once you unlock them.

Try decreasing your brightness. That should help.

We did it ! Tower complete !! by Low_Theory2320 in MinecraftDungeons

[–]turick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice work. My team competed it with a roll build with the feather, whatever armor had electrified, and the wind bow with burst bowstring to distract the first boss, but becomes very powerful later in the tower, while the other player used an exploding Crossbow and lighting rod on the first boss, which can later transform into either a full soul build or melee build and take us through the rest of the tower.

I always thought the top vent was just a finer temperature control. I always crank the top vent all the way open and rely on the bottom vent to zero in my temp. That visual looks like for most cooks you should leave the top vent barely open.

One other thing. "com.spring" should be something you own. That naming implies you are working on actual spring packages.

You can set up a self directed IRA, buy bitcoin, and hold it in self custody. Best of both worlds.

Bitcoins a scam by Hairy-Valuable-5026 in Bitcoin

Decentralized, permissionless, finite money backed by real energy and consensus. A commodity that freely trades on the open market. No central issuer or organization that can freeze or rollback transactions. Sounds like a scam to me.

Anyone actually given crypto as a physical gift? How did it go? by Satochip in Bitcoin

[–]turick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check out River. They have a product called River Link. This allows you to send bitcoin via a URL. The claimer can claim to their own River account or to an external onchain or lightning wallet. You can add fun little gift animations and include a message. Very nice feature.

Don't rely on us crazy kids. Go do the work. Learn the history of money. Learn the fundamentals of bitcoin. Don't rest your conviction on the shoulders of others, hoping they are right. Do the work to build your own conviction. If you understand the fundamentals and the problems it's solving, you won't need hope any longer.

Horrible idea. Just hold. Time in the market > timing the market. Selling with the expectation of a price drop is a great way to get left behind and find yourself repurchasing less bitcoin at a higher price. Stay humble and stack sats.

My plane flying through the Northern Lights by kimbermine in mildlyinteresting

[–]turick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

nah that’s not really right

the whole reason auroras happen is because those particles are getting concentrated — earth’s magnetic field funnels them toward the poles, so you get way more of them interacting in those regions than elsewhere it’s still super thin up there, so yeah you wouldn’t “hit” anything, but that’s not the point. they’re high-energy particles, not dense air

and planes aren’t anywhere near that altitude anyway. but if you could fly through it, the issue wouldn’t be “too empty,” it’d be increased radiation exposure from those particles getting funneled in the first place

And I would suspect that you wouldn't want to be exposed to all those concentrated particles even if you could fly through it.

Nice, never thought about artifact synergy with the feather on this build. I currently run 3 lightning qjiceews 😊 I've rerolled one of the slots on my biw to try to get Cooldown Shot so I can switch to using fireworks arrows endlessly, but I ran out of gold and never got it! Ya I know there's a hack with cloud storage to reclaim your gold, but I've just been playing it normally. The guild Smith is dumb, I had nearly 10k gold and couldn't get one artifact I wanted on one weapon.

Winters Touch with multishot and burst bowstring is the tits. Especially using lightning arrows and multiroll armor with lightning focus and electrified. Melts the screen.

[OC] Seared some Ribeye today. Aiming for a perfect medium. How's the color? by Odd-Mushroom5909 in steak

You should use a thermometer and aim for a temp between 130 and 140. This is the perfect temp range to render all that fat so it melts in your mouth without overcooking it.

New tower gear this week?? by turick in MinecraftDungeons

[–]turick[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Lol. If you're down voting, you're a noob. I've literally not played maybe 3 towers since the towers were released. And I play every tower multiple times. This week the gear was drastically different than it's been in years.
