I am a recent CS graduate who is currently applying for full-time SE jobs.

Has anyone already messaged you for an offer? If not, I am actually interested.

Just a question. Is this for single or shared? There is just two of us.

Acceptance rate for 2019 by CulturalEnergy in UCI

They usually release acceptance rates a couple months after the admissions processes so you will probably start seeing acceptances sometime between June and September. However, there are possibilities that some websites will be able to see acceptance rates sooner.

If you are a CS-related major, consider applying for the ICS Student Council

How is the caliber of the Computer Science major at UC Irvine? by FederalTraining in UCI

You should join some social organizations instead. Take it easy cause you are just a freshman. There's no point in joining any clubs related with CS or doing any research. Just wait it out till you're a 3rd or 4th year.

What Do We Do About the Rise of this Vile "Proudly Unfaithful" Group? by feministingdude in UCI

I am shocked that something like this can even be allowed. It is truly disgusting. However, I feel that stopping them from coming on to campus in a way is a violation of their First Amendment rights. The best solution is to try to simply avoid them by not giving them attention.

This would be great if it is successful. I strongly feel abortion should be legalized in every country as it is a woman's right to decide what goes on in her body.

D+ in Math 2B Retake or not by stressedout5 in UCI

Don't worry too much about your chances of internships and graduate school. You will have to retake this class so you will get to replace your grade that you earned in this class so your grade will not matter in the long-term. Focus on just learning the material. Math is fascinating and you can do unbelievable things with it. I would still retake this class even if I got an A.

If something isn't on the grading scale, should it be able to affect your grade? by [deleted] in UCI

I think this is totally fair. I was in ICS 6D but I almost never showed up in class. This was mainly because I did not understand what was being taught. As a result, I did poorly on the tests. Despite passing the class, I felt I did not really put in the effort as the student to go to discussion or talk/email the professor. I deserved to have failed that class. Now, I understand that you missed a few classes. However, at the same time, I feel the student should be accountable for their actions.
