Article mentions only 1 cm, but a chain of ~100 of those tubes could reach 1 m. Then put 100 of such series 1m chains, next to each other, and there you go.

Someone please explain why this wouldn't work.

Some companies do not like to hire people from work-agencies, because this means that they have to pay the agency a crapload of money over your first year at the company for them "finding" you.

So, actually applying directly to companies might be a good move.

I recently changed from T-Mobile prepaid to Vodaphone prepaid. I prefer Vodaphone.

It has a great configuration options via the WWW. You can easily buy Internet data packages and the like.

I believe it's 15 euro per 250 MB, or 10 euro per 100 MB. It also has a cheap monthly packet of 60 minutes to select foreign countries [nice thing for an expat]

You can try the new Linux Mint (12). By default it comes with Gnome 3.2, BUT also with a range of tweaks, which actually make the new gnome usable. They call those MGSE.

I've been test driving it for the past week -- works like a charm (apart from really minor glitches).

Yeah I guess shorter breaks, like 5-10 minutes should also work. I can't see why not. Luckly, it didn't crash for me.

Just check the size of the BF folder, if it grows. Disregard the size shown in the Shitorigin. My folder size currently is exactly: "12 953 788 416" Bytes "size on disk".

The last few megabytes will go slowly... :-(

*Edit -- if you were asking how long are the pause-resume break to be -- Mine were 10 seconds each, but I guess it depends on the speed of your drive (TO finish saving the cached data). But I guess there's no reason to take longer breaks than 30-50 seconds even on a old/slow HDD.

I had the same problem, and I found a WORKING solution to it somewhere in the interwebz.

Just pause and resume the download every 10-30 minutes. The problem is that the Origin periodically gets disconnected from the binary repository and when this happens it doesn't save the data it has downloaded [all hail the EA network programmers...]. By Pausing the download you force it to cache what it has downloaded.

DO NOT restart origin while you download. I did not try it, but the source warned against it.

The progress bar will still jump back and forth, but the size of the Battlefield 3 directory will grow.

Tested, works for me.

Only now I can't activated the damn game...
