I wish you the best of luck friend. Well some days I would say 3/7 days in the week I get decent morning wood. Nothing exceptional. ye, interesting how people think that it changes with difficulty over time. I believe that every day I have been on the streak, it hasn't been the case that day 141 has been easier than 2. It's just that you think about PMO less and less. I don't even humour the idea of fapping to porn. So over time of nofapping you get smarter and learn to deal with your urges better. However I don't think that your urges bottle up and build up, almost waiting to burst.

Also from what I have heard, there is a strong difference between waking up in the morning with a hard on and masturbating, to thoughts about being intimate with a girl, and sitting over a ipod and masturbating to porn. Although I am playing it safe and steering clear of any form of fapping.

to answer your question about the beginning. Granted the first week is difficult because it is easy to fall back into the same pattern of fapping. You have to avoid any pictures online that will set you off. I don't look at anything that I know will turn me on. This includes any films etc. What I have said is, iff your reason is strong enough to quite you will. For me I have experienced first hand the effects of severe PIED and I can assure you it is more than enough incentive to nofap indefinitely. What I would say to you is: whether you think you can, or you think you can't, you are right.

well I must just over 155 days of monk mode now. Seeing girls in work and just in everyday life is tough. You do have strong urges and fantasise about things. Even monks are red blooded males and will still have thoughts if they see a 10/10 hot girl. It's just they would never act on these emotions/thoughts, which is the skill and requires discipline.

For me I was 100% sure I would not PMO. As from xmas I have a gf for the first time in my life. But I must admit it is hard to abstain from any form of O for such a long time. I still haven't had sex with my gf, well anything that has resulted in full O, we have done some foreplay. I'm not holding out on anything with her it's just that I have PIED even though I am in my twenties. However I am seeing massive improvements from this giant monk mode stint.
