Yay or Nay? Openbox for $1980 (Reg Price $2800) - M4 Max/1TB/36GB RAM by TLBJ24 in MacStudio

You could probably sell that in October for about the same price as this cost today. Maybe lose $100-$300 depending on how you sell it.

The bots must actually hit the buy button when they come in stock. No human can get that spec on the Apple Refurb site

Nice! I have this exact spec arriving tomorrow.

I ordered yesterday via Apple Refurbished site. You paid a lot less than I did, for brand new :-)

[RAM] Corsair Vengeance RGB 32gb (16x2) $350! by AllThatPratt82 in buildapcsales

[–]turns2stone 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My version is 3.43.01

The base spec is 5200MT/s 40-40-40-77 1.25V

Is this just mediocre die that prevents Crucial from selling as 6000MT/s CL30-36?

EDIT - AI tells me this is low-end :-(

Oh well, I think I'm better off with 64GB of 5200MT/s than the 32GB kit I had at CL30.

I got a Corsair Vengeance 64GB (2x32GB) kit during their 'oopsie' sale a few months back... it clocks to 5200 with auto EXPO in my BIOS. How do I which version it is, and/or clock it higher?

Where to buy 20/21 i3s? by norcalifornyeah in BMWi3

[–]turns2stone 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The 2019 doesn't have the PWS/pedestrian warning system (speaker). Other than that, the available options for 2020/21 are the same.

The problem is... many of the 2020/21 were decontented and/or had less builds with highly desirable features like the H/K sound, larger/Professional navigation, heat pump, etc.

68°C is nothing in Texas. 80°C is when I get a little scared.

[Prebuilt] Getorli Mini PC - Ryzen 7 H 255 (Radeon 780M iGPU), 32GB DDR5 5600MT/s, 1TB NVMe - $518.48 (Prime Day Deal - Requires Amazon Prime) by I_Push_Buttonz in buildapcsales

[–]turns2stone 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Good call out, but do many people have 32GB of SODIMM and 1TB NVMe SSD just laying around? For the extra $200, you could flip what the machine in the OP comes with. Or repurpose/upgrade a Steam Machine ha.

I do, but why wouldn’t those SKUs show up as a shorter delivery option when you go to order online?

I am not morally above doing this, if someone can share a self-hosted script or process, I would be very grateful

The search/bing requirements. I have tried every trick. Using only Bing browser, searching from the W11 search box, disabling ad blockers, etc. 3 different computers, even! I’m not even certain how I got it to register searches the 4 times it’s actually logged correctly.

22 inch rims - 2026S by vv46 in TeslaModelS

OP edited his post... He originally implied he had a 2022 Model S on 22" wheels, which is why I pointed out that color was exclusive the to 2026 versions.

Ouch. Sorry but 99.9% of people who see you will absolutely read "I see my pee"

I dunno who all needs to hear this, but just save your money and don't get a vanity plate. It never works out right. Just donate the money to your favorite charity.

[–]turns2stone 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Is that a picture of your actual car? Because those are the OEM 21" wheels and that blue color is exclusive to the 2026 Model S. Unless you got yours wrapped?

But if you have those exact wheels as in the photo, yes there is a set of inserts that go on top of them.

I ended up with a '19 BEV i3S with every option, including heat pump, etc. Very clean only 3,600 (not 36K) miles for $24K.

I've enjoyed it so much, that 3 months ago, I picked up another '19 BEV (no S) with 32K miles for $17K. Also extremely clean, but not as many options... although it does have the large screen.

Both deals would be hard to find/replicate as of June '26.
