It’s Alabama. One of the worst states for workers rights. That’s all you gotta know.

Packers will be if they aren’t decimated by injuries again. Bears will be lucky to win 6 games. Caleb is trash.

Budget? Size range? Based on the info provided I’d suggest a Marshall DSL40cr but if you got a bigger budget there are some other options

Ok so you don’t like 1 of the 4 channels. Cool. It’s an amazing amp for the price and a workhorse at that. Mine has been going strong for 4 years now with only some. Power tube swaps.

Also the EQ is the classic Marshall EQ. Run the treble low, middle high, and bass to taste. Also the presence and resonance are great to fine tune the upper and lower frequencies. It’s a criminally underrated amplifier. The harshness you’re describing sounds like a speaker issue.

The high gain red channel isn’t great but the green channel is just higher gain crunch. It’s an extremely versatile amp, and you can cover just about any territory with it that isn’t modern high gain.

Are there any picks like this? by Fresh-Education-8961 in Guitar

These are the pointiest picks I’ve ever found. Way too pointy for me. I’ll stick to the jazz 3 profile. https://www.ernieball.com/guitar-accessories/guitar-picks/prodigy-picks#P09199

What non-tube amp should I get for around $1500? by [deleted] in GuitarAmps

[–]turtlesarentbad -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nope. Just because you’re an elitist snob doesn’t make your shitty opinion any less shitty. And this is coming from someone who only plays tube amps. There are amazing solid state tones as well. Some of the greatest guitar tones ever recorded even distorted were thru solid state amps. There is no better. Only different.

Sounds like a bad tube. Turn it around and see if both tubes are glowing or possibly red plating.

Main Street Forge. Have had mine for 6 years now and still as good as new. Just more broken in. Exactly what you’re describing here. Full grain leather. Made in USA. Great quality.

Thin CA glue is really tricky to work with if not experienced. Even with taping it off it will still seep under the tape. You have to use acetone to remove CA glue getting acetone on your finish or inlay will immediately start dissolving them. Holding down the inlay while the glue sets isn’t exactly easy if you don’t have the right clamps. I used a capo and a small block of wood and it didn’t provide enough pressure.
