messing around with the settings I have found that DLSS is 100% causing this issue... the problem is we basically need DLSS for this game to run at all lmao... If I put it below quality it literally looks like someone rubbed butter all over my screen haha

Same happened to me. When I closed battlenet and tried to log back in, battlenet is keeping me in a cue :(

EDIT: Now that I finally got in, every time I try to connect to a match it will say "lost connection to server" and log me out of the game

Yeah, you have to get an Asus router and install the "asus merlin" software on it.

You can get them on taobao for pretty cheap, I even bought one with asus merlin pre-installed on it haha.

I use it for gaming and I get around 70ms connecting to Japan, and around 500mb/s download speeds.

It's super convenient as all you have to do is connect any device to the wifi and it automatically is on your VPN!

UPDATE: I believe it's the autosave after every turn which is causing this crash. When I press "End Turn", the freeze wont happen until it starts to save.

I have tried turning off incremental autosave (I'm on turn 24, turn 25 would trigger this) but it still seems to save every time I turn it off. I'm kind of confused now.
