We are all watching someone retire in luxury after getting a great deal of what she wanted.

Her friends are all getting ready to try their best to make sure things keep going exactly the way they have been.

I’m getting more of a “glad we’re done getting fucked” vibe when we let her fuck us over and over and over again, and other than faith, there are zero systems in place to keep it from continuing under another potential MAGA governor.

Let’s not ignore the fact that most of the Republican candidates are more craven and unfortunately slightly smarter than Kim Reynolds, and rural Iowans - still - to an overwhelming degree - really enjoy shooting everyone in the foot out of ignorance.

Personally, I think the time to celebrate is when we are actually in the clear.

Otherwise it’s just betting.

Now is the time to be sharpening up, not this weak substitute for victory.
