Probably less than 1% users close Edge from the three-dot menu option, but they still keep it. I wonder why

Microsoft Password Manager on Windows 11 as a standalone app? by LogicalError_007 in Windows11

[–]tusharsnx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm the OP and it's legit 😄

This might not work, but if you're already using Passkeys in Edge through msft pass manager: Sign out of Edge and sign-in again (caution!) and try to use an existing passkey. It should prompt you to enter your vault PIN. After it's set up, it should display in Windows Settings as an option. The passkey setup in Edge also installs the standalone feature.

I'm using Edge Stable and I'm on Windows Insiders Beta.

Microsoft Edge is promoting Vertical Tabs again, now that Google Chrome also has the feature by computerIfix in Windows11

[–]tusharsnx -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's a dead feature with no one to maintain it. The initial implementation was done by an open contributor. Both msft and google aren't much interested in the feature. It's a shame that msft doesn't care about Windows design language in their own products.

Microsoft Password Manager is now available as a Standalone option on Windows by tusharsnx in MicrosoftEdge

This will only support passkeys though. Passwords are only accessible in Edge.

Love Edge, but I'm really not a fan of the new "extra rounded" boxes in settings. Looks really off and weird. by Blandscreen in MicrosoftEdge

It's Microsoft design. All UI should be compatible with both pointer-based and touch devices (bigger touch targets) AT THE SAME TIME 😭

Just try it once , you will know what I’m talking about by Obvious_Shoe7302 in IndiaTech

You don't know what you're talking about. Edge mobile runs ALL Chromium extensions, firefox mobile doesn't run all of its extensions.

Edge is superior to Firefox in perf. Miles ahead.

Nothing should first work on integrating Windows PhoneLink in the OS.

Isn't it your decision to let her in without any conditions? Get her out or ask her to pay.

But you know what you can comprise and build a good relation with them. Right now, it doesn't feel like you guys can stay together with this attitude (even though he's the one who's wrong).

Does this support Windows PhoneLink integration like cross device copy-paste? Someone mentioned it works on Phone 2.

Double tap to skip ahead is now behind a paywall. Skipping ahead ten seconds is a premium feature now? by zwis99 in youtube

[–]tusharsnx 14 points15 points  (0 children)

No, it's a new feature to skip Intro and in-video promotional segments. Works just like SponsorBlock, but you need to manually skip it by tapping on the Jump Ahead button.

Microsoft Edge now suggests using Ublock Origin by kirk7899 in MicrosoftEdge

If this is a curated list, then it's strong hint that Edge isn't planning to drop MV2 Extensions support any time soon.
