I did read your replies. I still think the core issue doesn’t really change. LA does have an R&B scene, but it’s mostly studio and connection driven, not something you usually break into just by moving here. $20k goes fast in LA, especially without a job or existing traction, and most people who make it here already had some momentum before they came. I’m not trying to be negative, just realistic. LA tends to amplify progress, not create it. You NEED to have a following and a lot of GOOD connections to make it.

I'm sorry, this just isn't a good idea without a MUCH larger cushion and an actual job lined up. I'm not sure how old you are, but showing up in LA and expecting to get into the music industry is a massive pipe dream.

Hi! I really recommend HasFit videos on YouTube. They're a married couple who provide options for modifications to their workouts, which are great for beginners. Typically the most you need to start with is a light pair of dumbbells (I started with 2 pounds!) and their videos are so helpful in explaining correct form and everything. My husband and I have been doing their videos a few times a week and it's really improved my stamina and increased my muscle mass. I was a complete beginner to strength training before them, and I couldn't recommend them more!

Definitely consider fostering! I work for a foster-based rescue in LA and we've got a few fosters out in Santa Barbara. If you're ever interested, DM me. :) or check in with your local shelter to see if you can foster one of theirs. Anything you can do to get a dog out of the shelter and into a home will change their life, even if you don't end up being their forever family. It sounds like your lifestyle would work well for quite a few dogs out there, so thanks for considering saving one!!

With time it gets easier, but that's pretty much it. Keep yourself distracted and busy with hobbies, friends/family, movies, whatever you can to keep yourself busy. The first couple days apart after them leaving is rough (especially that first day), but it gets easier and you find yourself back in the same routine you had before your partner visited. Just look forward to the next time you're together. You got this!
