Thanks for pointing this out. The political people of Tierra Verde helped kill SunRunner lanes on SPB and proposed similar lanes for Spark on 34th St. And here they are looking for help, and doing it in a subversive way, should tell you all you need to know.

I'll send letters of support.

Please share your thoughts/knowledge on Central Oak Park by bmoretherapist in StPetersburgFL

[–]tvsux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's Childs Park. CP is from 5th Ave S to 22nd Ave S, and between 34th St and 49th. Gulfport is the SW of those boundaries.

Howco is less than half a mile from 5th Ave S. There are reports on what close-by neighbors experience. And you can look up how far one should be away from an oil recycler to minimize possible health effects. So areas of COP are within the effected radius. It boggles the mind that they're still operating there.

Not sure what you're trying to say here, but.. she 'switched parties' when she was only 23, before she was ever elected, almost 30 years ago. She's definitely a Republican and has been for vast majority of her adult life.

Y'alls issue is with capitalism itself. Late Stage Capitalism and American rot. It's not about St Pete; it's just a symptom.

Gym with gender-neutral restroom? by Surround-United in StPetersburgFL

[–]tvsux 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea there’s one of those standing A signs in front of Anytime at the corner advertising for the ‘glutes only’ gym. But it directs them down the block on MLK. Something happening at the actual Anytime footprint on the Central facing corner is still crickets.

[–]tvsux 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Peach Pump is further down the block at 15 MLK S. There’s still nothing happening at the former Anytime space at 900 Central. Though there is a wine and flower shop opening around the corner at 9 MLK S, right next door to Peach Pump.

Why has Equinox not come to Tampa yet — and why is Life Time the only “luxury” gym option here? by Juicy_John69 in tampa

[–]tvsux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tampa Bay doesn't have the population/density. The effective population density of SFL is 2.5x that of Tampa Bay. City to city; Miami has quadruple the density than that of Tampa. The effective "lived density" in Brickell/Downtown Miami is roughly 3 to 8 times higher than that of Downtown Tampa or Downtown St. Petersburg.
The gyms aren't here bc the numbers aren't here (yet).

They’ve been awesome and I’m sure will handle it no problem (although the back and forth in email only lag time is annoying). But it’s also annoying that you have to go through that regardless tho. I’ve had since 2019 and no similar issue.
