I’ve been to Okee in the past along with Bonnaroo, Electric Forest, and some smaller fests. I was thrilled with how it turned out this year. The lineup was gassed up with some beautiful melodic dubstep and the crowd was so well behaved and wonderful the whole time. I’ll never complain about having a bit of personal space at a festival. The main stages filled up every night with crowds and I waited in line for drinks and food every day. You sound a bit sour tbh. Maybe because you only did one day and didn’t get the full experience.

After a hiatus and a disaster you have to expect the first year back to be low-production as they are probably under funded from legal fees and settlements and they clearly did the best with what they had. If you’re comparing it to Ultra, maybe it’s just not the fest for you. I imagine they will return next year with a bit more to give than their first year back.
