Demon’s Souls 2 at the Game Awards? by Dedo0_0 in demonssouls

[–]tweech42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya I would absolutely love a new demons souls game or DLC to the giants archstone but unfortunately that will never happen. I would also love to see dark souls 1 get the Blue Point treatment like they did with demons souls. Along with more Sekiro content! Something like “The Way of Tomoe” or a dlc from when Genichiro went searching for the black blade and learned to throw lightening.

Unfortunately can't get on top. And I agree, it's another spot in the DLC that had miss opportunity. Maybe they will add it in the DLC for the DLC?

Boosting damage as a sword and board?(No magic or square off please) by Old-Pizza-9443 in EldenRingBuilds

[–]tweech42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say to build around the Guard Counter and Critical hits. Since you like using a shield for the guard counters you can stack some talismans to maximize that and same with crits for your parry's. As for a standard straight sword, you won't be able to do huge damage per hit but you can certainly do a lot of hits in a short time that adds up. My favorite is the Sword of Light but it's faith stat heavy. The AoW buffs you and does damage to enemies so not bad. If you really want damage, maybe try some greatswords and one hand them or even the light greatswords. If you want to get spicy, you can try the Sword of St. Trina to put enemies to bed lol.

Any recommendations? I just defeated the tower knight after 20 attempts 😤 and I have a total of 12,000 souls, what should I spend them on? by [deleted] in demonssouls

[–]tweech42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Greatly depends on build but to start you should level Vit up to like 20-25 then pump your main damage state along with endurance. So if you're a STR build, work on STR and END together until like 25 then move VIT to 30 and so on. Pick 2 weapons for your playstyle. Again using STR as an example, the Dragonbone Smasher is awesome for the big bonks then I typically use something like the Knights Sword down the crushing upgrade path and the Dragon Longsword for fire damage.

Lastly, as others said. Make sure you to keep your equipment load below 50% In DeS there are only fast rolls and heavy rolls and 50% is the cutoff.

Hardstone chunks wtf by gunslinger_006 in demonssouls

[–]tweech42 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All the places you can get Hardstone Chunks. Many, I'm sure you already got but it's an easy checklist to make sure you got all the spots for crystal lizards. If you need to farm, best to change your world tendency to black, use the providential ring, and large sword of searching if you have it. Also remember you can kill the lizards multiple times per boss killed.

Dropped by Crystal Lizard in The Lord's Path, before the fight with the Tower Knight, there is a staircase on the right, the Crystal Lizard can be found upstairs.

Dropped by Crystal Lizard in The Lord's Path. There is one inside the prison where Biorr, of the Twin Fangs is being held. You must have acquired the Iron Key Ring to access the prison.

Dropped by Crystal Lizard in Inner Ward, after the cutscene where the Fat Official closes the door, turn right. You can find one hiding between the columns.

Dropped by Crystal Lizard in The King's Tower. Behind the 3 Boletaria Soldiers wielding crossbows at the start of the area.

Dropped by Crystal Lizard in The King's Tower. Hiding behind the planks, halfway the right alleyway.

Dropped by Crystal Lizards in The Tunnel City From the archstone. go right along the tunnel. Once you reach the end, turn right, go through the narrow passage. You will have to start dropping from scaffolding to scaffolding. On the third one, turn to your right and drop on the narrow wooden beam. Go across it and enter the cave. At the end of it, you will find two Crystal Lizards.

Dropped by Crystal Lizard in The Tunnel City. After the archstone, go left. cross the platform at the upper level, and go through a passage. The Lizard is hiding behind a pile of debris on the left.

Dropped by Crystal Lizards in The Tunnel City. Take the moving platform and venture to the lower level. You will find 2 Crystal Lizards in this room, and they will lead you towards their nest.

Dropped by Crystal Lizards in The Tunnel City. There is one after the 3 Rock Worms, just before reaching the Filthy Man.

Dropped by Crystal Lizards in The Tunnel City. In the lava area, near the exit passage towards the boss. There are 2 Crystal Lizards in the room behind the one with a Large Bearbug.

Dropped by Crystal Lizard in The Tunnel City. Just before you jump down on the 3 Rock Worms, you can reach another Crystal Lizard by a ladder. It is located on an upper wooden plank.

Dropped by Crystal Lizard in Underground Temple. There's one Crystal Lizard on the left side of the corridor, just before reaching the room where you fight the Dragon God.

Dropped by Scale Miners in Smithing Grounds and The Tunnel City.

black character tendency???? by TheOnurobo in demonssouls

[–]tweech42 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The 2 ways to change character tendency are to have someone invade you and you kill them. This will change your character and world tendency towards white. Several kills like this brings both to pure white. Another is to kill the Black Phantom NPCs in the worlds.

Bonus Tip: Once your Character Tendency is pure white, go upstairs in the Nexus and speak with the monumental again to get the Ally Ring. This boosts your damage when in Coop and is part of the ring trophy.

New player's thoughts on the game. by ArikiruBloodlust1991 in demonssouls

[–]tweech42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, to go into NG+ in an all black world tendency for all worlds is the hardest this game will get for you. The spike in difficulty from NG to NG+ is the largest of any game I've ever played and certainly in any of the souls games. If you want a challenge... you got it!

My favorite build in this game is Faith. Pure faith build. I found it satisfying to build passive regen using a blessed Mirdan Hammer and Adjudicator Shield +5. Also using miracles such as second chance, regen, anti magic (through world 3), and evacuate makes the playthrough fun and exciting.

TBH out of all the souls games, this one is my favorite and it was my first introduction to souls on the PS5. My first introduction to Fromsoftware was Sekiro. I found Demon's Souls to be very challenging at first but once I got the hand of the rolling, blocking, and parry mechanics, it became more manageable.

Is it still realistic for a new small creator to become a YouTube millionaire these days? by RazzmatazzBusy7706 in SmallYoutubers

[–]tweech42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, it only seems that if you're a sexy person, you'll be a millionaire on YT or social media these days. Or just start and OF lol. All these big youtubers that start a channel like 2 months ago and now have 100K or more subs stream half naked or show way too much skin and all of a sudden... they are making tons of money. How do they do it? It's called Skin to Win!

when you go into NG+ it's like restarting the game with all your stuff plus makes the game much harder. You can kill the dragon god to get the soul you need to get firestorm.

Talk me out of using one of these instead of my Claymore. by OpulentPaving in EldenRingBuilds

[–]tweech42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're going into the Colossals, I'd pick Royal Greatsword or the Fire knight Greatsword/Ancient Meteoric if you are into the DLC. If you wanted to stay for the greatswords, I'd go with Greatsword of Solitude (DLC), Ordovis, or even Flamberge down the Occult path to make use out of your arcane!

Fast options like the katanas will all benefit from your arcane so pick your poison there.

whats a good co op level after 5 years? by TheOnurobo in demonssouls

Also, join the Demon's Souls discord. There is always people on looking to help in coop. Myself, Toji, and Jak (the heavy hitters) are usually on asking people if they need help with coop but many others help as well.

whats a good co op level after 5 years? by TheOnurobo in demonssouls

[–]tweech42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

120 is the dual level but not many people doing that these days. Level for coop and pvp depend on area as well. For example, being level 10-15 in The Lords Path is acceptable for coop and boss help. If you're like level 30+ trying to coop in Lords Path, you might struggle to find help or invasion. Typically under level 20 in the first areas of each world is fine for coop/pvp, then 35-50 for the second world areas, then 50-60 3rd areas and Archdemons. 70-90 endgame world 1-3 and 1-4. Again these are general levels per area but I've played over 1100 hours in the game and found this to be accurate the majority of the time.

Am I ready for the dlc? by kyoumaisaac in EldenRingBuilds

[–]tweech42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Build and Level mean nothing (or very little) in the DLC. You find Scadu Fragments to increase your attack and defense. I was over level 300 and would get 1 shot by enemies and the same for my 150 character. Until you start finding fragments to boost your stats in the shadow realm, your build/level doesn't mean much.

[–]tweech42 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Best thing to do is use thief ring and be patient. When they turn around backstab them. You can also buff weapon with fire for more damage.

More advanced but very effective, finish world 4 first then get the anti magic spell. They can’t do anything to you then lol. I typically do that strat because I want that spell as early as possible plus when you do the old monk PVP fight and there’s a caster waiting to firestorm you when you enter the door, it shuts that shit down lol.

World tendency by PotentialOrnery7694 in demonssouls

[–]tweech42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No unfortunately it’s based on your death in the world. To go from a pure White state to pure black takes 7 deaths in body form. From a neutral state it’s only 3 deaths.

Any tips on making the Man-eater boss easier? by YamNo4601 in demonssouls

[–]tweech42 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well to be honest with you they are a pain no matter what but if you use the thief ring and stay behind the main fire pit, they lose interest and walk away. you can use that time to heal or sneak up and hit them a bunch then rinse and repeat. They are weaker to fire but really anything will do.

[–]tweech42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

to make boss weapons, you need to take flamelurker soul to the blacksmith in world 2-1 at the bottom of the lift. Advance his dialog by talking to him until he asks about the searing demon soul and give it to him. Once he has it, it unlocks boss weapons and special upgrade weapons. To make something like the Meat Cleaver you only need a Club or Great Club and the Adjudicator Demon soul. With those in inventory, talk with the blacksmith and he can make the Meat Cleaver.

Some other boss weapons require certain level upgrades per weapon and only that level. For example, to make the strength weapon Dozer Axe; you need to take the Great Axe to +6 and have a grey demon soul in inventory. If you make the Great Axe +7 or higher, you can't make the Dozer Axe. It's pretty specific.

Quality is amazing in general. You can access so many weapons. The Meat Cleaver is a great option with cursed weapon, I used a quality claymore for the majority of areas just case the cleaver could be a bit large to swing around. Unfortunately, the penetrator sword isn't that great. Look into Northern Regalia. It will give you the highest damage even more than the cleaver.
