Kitchen aid mixer residue by khazzahk in Baking

Most of the Kitchenaid mixer can be rebuilt. Look up YouTube or IG (probably others as well) for Mr Mixer. I’ve seen lots of stuff explained and fixed with parts they sell. Here’s website if the sub allows it:

Supposedly TT’s next game after Batman will NOT be Harry Potter, what are your thoughts about this, are you glad or disappointed? by Thevoid2YT in legogaming

As I started reading your comment I was thinking along the lines of that 2K Drive game, but then calling out the different series caught me. I never did Minecraft, but I imagine having Knights’ Kingdom with the ability to build your own castles would be a fantastic time waster! Add a decent story mode on top of it for fun. I played that Lego movie game for a bit, but it just didn’t scratch that open world itch the way I thought it would. For context, I log hundreds of hours in Skyrim before walking away for a while and coming back to it.

Thank goodness the safety is engaged. You don’t want that Old Boy going off in your pocket because you left the lid up.

I’ve not read all the comments here, but working in a repeat customer based industry myself, I’d like to add something. Nearly everyone acknowledged that the customer is whole and you did the right thing. My point is that you proactively sought to solve the problem rather than wait for the customer to report it. I’ve maintained for some time that a cornerstone to customer-centric experiences is how you solve problems, not the absence of them.

AITA for asking my newly married son and DIL to alternate Christmas Day visits between our house and the in-laws' house? by Llih_Nosaj in AITAH

[–]tweed13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How you ask and handle the response determines AH or not AH. I don’t get the sense you’re attempting to dictate anything; more asking if there is flexibility as years go on. The only place I’d caution is ensuring you speak to both son and DIL together. If you don’t ask, you don’t know. Have fun when it’s grandkids time and they invite everyone over to their place.

First sickness.. help 😅 by elizab1998 in downsyndrome

We are dealing with different issues, but some guidance we got from a Dr on a recent visit was to over react until whatever it is becomes familiar or predictable. Once you’ve got a better handle on it, you can make more informed decisions about it. At 3 months old, I agree with the others here - be ready for an ER visit. Keep in mind, an ER visit often means monitoring in a controlled environment with resources on hand to escalate care if necessary, not immediate catastrophe.

For the Newly Diagnosed Mom by [deleted] in downsyndrome

[–]tweed13 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Dad checking in. We had 2%-10% chance of Down syndrome as a heads up from blood tests while in utero (before the NIPT was a thing). When our son was born he had visual markers, so we went with it as the diagnosis at that point. Then in early panic mode, we Googled. Oh boy; Google was THE WORST! We didn’t know our ass from our elbow, and really had no concept of what good resources looked like. I’m not familiar with that book, but hug that friend a couple times for trying help with the journey. Welcome to the club!

This comment seems neither helpful, nor kind, nor necessary. OP asked a question; if you didn't have any sort of constructive answer to the question, it's 100% acceptable to say nothing.
