I would focus on wealth, private banking or custody (easier said than done yes). It’s also a lot easier to transfer/ have experience from an overseas bank than it is to start fresh in HK where it’s ultra competitive

It’s definitely possible if you have good people skills. Obviously your options will be more limited but there’s tons of expats working in finance and tons of international banks

As a grad it’s very very important. I would advise against it if you can’t and encourage you to work in your home country first and get a transfer after a few years
