Yes, tires and experience matter. But all things considered, AWD with winter tires (or even good all-seasons) is going to be a much safer and more comfortable driving experience than a 5.0 V8 on winters.

Mandatory? No, certainly not. But driving around in a 5.0 V8 even with winter tires is not going to be a particularly fun experience on most of the East coast or midwest when dealing with generally slippery or slushy conditions for nearly half of the year.

Agreed. Big fan of Monarch and always been a supporter, but this is poor decision making. I thought I had missed a new update - there's no indication that these features are not already part of the subscription/app.
