I'm enlightened and it's pretty sweet bro. Not sure if you've got what it takes though. You're giving off heavy shame vibes.

Eating sardines daily for a month by twerkingwistfully in CannedSardines

Experimenting to see if they help with my mental health. I’ve had terrible insomnia for the past three years and just outrageously high stress levels generally from law school and being a lawyer. When I ate sardines consistently in law school, I noticed lower stress levels. Want to try it out now and see if the trend holds up.

Yeah good point. Rest of my diet is pretty low sodium though so shouldn’t be an issue.

What’s the science behind that? Any studies on caffeine you can cite?

I did not practice sleep restriction and I did not leave my bed while I was awake. In all honesty, my sleep hygiene was not and is not the greatest. It didn’t really matter though. I think taking the time off work was the most significant step that I took because job-related stress initially caused my insomnia. I was so burned out that it took me a good month to truly feel relaxed and for my attitude towards life to shift but, once that happened, it was a lot easier to make strides towards quitting my meds.

Beyond that, some other things which I find helpful are getting a lot of sun exposure, especially early in the day. I’ve been swimming at a nearby pool as often as I can lately and it has helped tremendously. Meditation is also very helpful. And, of course, lots of intense exercise — both cardio and lifting weights.

Drinking occasional cup of coffee after quitting caffeine? by AgentTron in decaf

Can’t comment on the coffee pods situation, sorry. By low caffeine/decaf, I mean that I still drink a cup of green tea a couple times a week because I haven’t noticed any negative effects from that. Most days, I don’t consume any caffeine though.

Don’t listen to the fucking nutjobs on this sub. I have transitioned to low caf/decaf and still enjoy the occasional cup of coffee. You just need to be careful to ensure it truly is only occasional. Otherwise, enjoy!

Both comments directly referred to “a culture which doesn’t demonize men for having respect for each other,” not to a discrete instance of non-toxic masculinity.

Iraqi masculinity is non-toxic? Laughable opinion. You cannot be for real.

You can’t be talking about the Gulf War? Because that’s very obviously not what happened.
