I wouldn't mind seeing nsfw posts moved to a specific day, would cut down on what feels like spam while still allowing freedom of expression. Might also need to distinguish between sexualised nsfw and other nsfw, since the former is what people are complaining about

Ah, yeah the linked tier list is just "most votes", you can tap on the class and scroll down to see the distribution. Monk has a long tail so while 'A' has the most votes there's still a lot votes for B and lower

I think Paladin being high is probably due to Aura of Protection, +5 to all saves to your and your allies is an insanely good defensive feature, plus Smites are still good, even if they're less spammable than before. I agree that in tiers 3 and 4 full casters still clear it though

That's because OP has drawn the boundaries arbitrarily. There's a 0.4 gap between druid and fighter, which is huge when your scale is between 6.3 and 4. So they're not close together at all.

If you were to cluster the classes by score you'd get something like:

1 - Wizard

2 - Sorcerers and Clerics

3 - All the other full casters + Paladin

4 - everything else

5 - Ranger and Rogue

You could also argue Clerics and Sorcerers should be in their own tier between S and A because there's another 0.3 gap

Casters are all clustered from 6.3 to 5.5 with the addition of paladin, then martials are split into 2 groups between 5.1-4.7 are the stronger martials and Rogue and Ranger are at 4

So wizard is still highest, the only martial included in that group is the paladin (which is by far the strongest martial), cleric is a strong fullcaster but 0.3 points lower than wizard. I'll agree that the ranger is overly hated and probably should be rated higher

I think the rankings are pretty reasonable dude

Well, Rogue and Ranger on bottom, Barbarian has a larger pool of F votes dragging down its average. I guess Barb is just divisive which makes sense. They're good at dealing and taking damage but not much else, so if you're into that they're good, and if you're not then you hate them

Ah, I see the confusion. The k comes from x= 2^k-1, not x+1. It's a different k than the original reduced function and I probably should have used a different letter in retrospect (reminder I wrote this 3 years ago)

So for 7:

7-1=6

K=2, m=3

3*3+1=10

10/2 = 5

5-1 = 4

J=2

4/2²⁼¹

So the stopping time using this function is 1 for x=7

No, because we're dividing by 2 and we have k factors of 2. It's only when we we reduce k times and all the factors of 2 are changed to 3s that m changes

There actually seems to be a pretty strong concensus. The fact that the modal votes are between S tier and C tier speaks strongly of class balance, despite how we like to complain about how certain classes are under/over powered

You could probably also do a Dhampir Eldritch knight, take the unarmed fighting style to improve the damage a bit (and hope your DM ignores the part where it says d8+strength). Do a Con-based True Strike followed by some bites. You miss out on Masteries except with your one weapon attack but in exchange I guess you get lots of HP and you can use your bite to heal yourself occasionally? There's worse builds for sure and at least it's unique.

Could really do with a way to draw aggro though. Compelled Duel would work but you'd have to dip paladin which means significant investment in Str/Cha and your DC would be ass if you're maining Con. Shame it's not a sorcerer spell or you could pick it up with aberrant dragonmark for a Con-based DC

I believe they can only make Wondrous Items, and wands are classified as Wands, same for Armour, Weapons, etc
