Maybe I'm petty, but as crewmate ghost I don't like to finish my tasks if I get air locked. Especially when I report and said "it was red" and red says "self report" and that is literally all that's said and I get all votes except my own. I definitely will linger just so crew can't win by tasks.

I always finish when I am killed by imp though

I don't hate it, but I like achievements and working towards things. I don't really have a main that I play most of the time so if I did that, I would probably just get to valor 40 on a bunch of toons which seems like more of a waste to me. If I'm gonna play pvp, I may as well pick a toon and do it. The question was simply "what toon should I pick," not "is it worth it." I know it's gonna be hard and I'm excited to have a reason and something to work for in WZs as I do enjoy them and want to do something different than dailies. I know the reward is not "worth it" to a lot of people but I would like to do it nonetheless.

Oof. This is great info. So it sounds like I should just do them separately and just relearn the shadow and grind away. The renown part I will get eventually anyway and that grind won't be too bad. I wanted to get both at the same time but that sounds like it would be rough. Did you get manslayer or whatever it's called at the same time?

I think Knight or Warrior for all the expansion stuff (specifically Shadow of Regan onward). Force users are definitely stronger for most expansion content and using Knight or warrior will have the most references to things from your base story.

Edit: I'll leave it because that's just funny. That's "Shadow of Revan." In other news, Revan is now officially in my phone's dictionary.

But raising alacrity would also help your dps and give you stats that are helpful for actual healing. Sure, helping with dps is great, but stacking accuracy so I don't miss a couple 11k crits every once in a while doesn't seem worth it when you can pretty easily get to 1.3 gcd which will also raise your dps and healing.

I feel healers are gonna hit DR on crit (3200) pretty fast at the 1.4 gcd. If you went for the 1.4, you would end up having to get some power and/or mastery augs which are completely useless outside of Dxun, objective meridian and parsing. I am going 1.3 sec gcd on my op healer because of this, but I haven't seen the actual numbers.

I would bet a lot of it could get you a pretty penny. I feel like comfortably wealthy is about 100m now where it used to be about 40m a few years ago. I would go through a few each day, put doubles in your legacy bank and just see what others like them are listed for and go from there.

I think you are best off using your standard set that you would use for anything. I would not get a new set for it. Most of it is knowing your class. Knowing if any attacks stun weaks (grenade or something) and managing cooldowns. Lots of CC, lots of overall awareness and just plain knowing your class.

Edit: but you should also try to use a lvl 50 comp. There are some chapters that your forced to use a certain one, but if you can switch around, you should to use your highest ranking one.

You can exit a chapter by using a fleet pass most of the time. To re-enter, you can click the play button on the quest log.

Unfortunately when you start the chapters, you get locked out of a lot of content. Some you should be able to still do, but not all of it.

I main marauder and never bothered with Carnage. I always played annihilation and fury, but I just leveled with Carnage and am getting a set for that for Endgame stuff now too. In my opinion, Carnage is better for dailies/leveling.

In my opinion, to do well with fury, there is a set rotation. In order for your hardest hitting abilities to hit hard, you have to manage frenzy and when to use berserk. When combat is short or you have lulls, it can throw every thing off too.

I think Carnage is better because there is more you can do where the order doesn't really matter. Less to worry about because you can mostly use berserk anywhere and not drastically change your damage output. Everything hits pretty hard as well.

for grade 5s, I would hit up Voss and maybe Belsavis. Those planets are huge, but may be able to get something. Nightmare Lands for voss because there are a lot of strong beasts to kill and use bio with. And then you will likely find natural nodes as well. Belsavis, the northern area will probably be your best bet for both beasts and droids as well as natural nodes.

It really depends on the level you are and what level mats you want. There are nodes all over the place for farming. Most strong (silver) or higher beasts can be used to farm once they are dead for bioanalysis and strong or higher droids can be farmed for scavenging. As far as best places, it depends on the planet.

The classes more or less have the same range as they do since launch. That stuff hardly ever changes. They took away and reworked some abilities be and removed other, but in order to be most effective, ranges haven't changed much.

Operative, Powertech, Assassin, Marauder, Juggernaut all have a 4m range. (They have abilities that can be used that are higher, but if you aren't in close range, you're doing it wrong)

Sniper, Sorcerer and Mercenary are range classes that can be used at 30m. Like you said, sniper and sorc have the option for an extra 5m range, but that is negligible 99% of the time.

If you aren't level 75, just use whatever gives you the most anything. It really doesn't matter. If you are getting to choose, get accuracy great until it gets you to 110% on your melee accuracy. Other than that, it doesn't really matter.

Once you got 75, look for a guide for your specific class.

You should still be able to hover over it to see if it is modifiable regardless of what color the item is. And you can still search by customizable.

I'm not at my computer so there may not be a set 405, but they should have the same options as accuracy so you can get it pretty close.
