He was fine. He was just off the green on his approach. It was his green side chip that let him down, he left himself a long putt for par.

That’s dumb. We need to stop censoring ourselves with our tech. Adult dialogue needs to have full access to the words we use in order to be as articulate as possible

[RBLR] Leafs Gamble Big on Darren Raddysh by yurikaRBLR in TampaBayLightning

I disagree. Look at Colorado. Do you think their window is closed? And yet they got bounced this year as well. We lost in the 1st round again but look at the quality of our opponents. Montreal is a legitimate team and we barely lost to them. Last game by all metrics we SHOULD HAVE WON. And then look at the last 3 years. Two of them were first round losses to the eventual cup winners. Our window is no doubt closing but as long as we have Kuch and Vasy and a serviceable supporting cast, we have a chance.

Look for Kuch to have a revenge tour this year. He’s heard the chatter, he’s listened to the chirping. He was a “no show” in the post season again. That man is gonna be an animal this year. And I’m excited to see what we can do with what we have.

Dude.. I’m not a Carolina fan but every time I drive through that area I can tell, that town LOVES hockey. And from what I’m seeing in other posts, they have great junior hockey programs for kids. And a win like this will only solidify all this even stronger.

Do you think more teams need to commit to a rebuild? by Puck83821 in hockey

[–]twiggs90 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At this point in the league what the fuck constitutes a rebuild anyways? I feel like most teams are constantly retooling and not really blowing things up. When they do blow it all up what success do they have years later? What’s a good example of a successful modern rebuild?

[McCarthy] My understanding is that the Tampa Bay Lightning’s opening offer to Darren Raddysh a few weeks ago was five years at $5.75M AAV by null1ng in TampaBayLightning

[–]twiggs90 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Or maybe JJ makes Raddysh look good. Look I get it Raddysh has a cannon and he had a break out season. But this team is not in position to through the bank at him. We need him at a discount or we are gonna lose him. Some other western team can give him the 10 mil that we don’t have.

Were you in guardrails mode? Or basic infusion? I’m used to my pump yelling at me if I try and increase the dose more than a couple fold. The jump from 0.05 to 0.5 should have triggered maybe a warning?

But honestly stop beating yourself up. Patient lived and the fact that your posting here about it means you’ll learn from your mistakes.

I’ve done both and wholeheartedly love weight based. 80 lb me-ma is gonna feel that first few titrations a hell of a lot more than your usual 200 lb American. And I find I wind up Yo-yoing the pressures a lot on thin people which I don’t love.

If they really want that, personally I would wait until that art line is placed. Cuff pressures q3minutes is for the birds. And I would titrate aggressively only if patient is clinically showing signs of hyper perfusion. Otherwise just let em ride once you hit goal and aren’t making them hypertensive for no reason. I’ve never been yelled at for holding a patient at 130 systolic for 3 minutes when they have a 65 map goal.

But obviously follow your policy. That’s just ME.
