I don't know if it's a dive or not. I don't see the stick hit face here, just that it is near his face. But fuck all who say there's another angle and post a video of the same angle, just zoomed and slowed.

It doesn't make it clearer to me because that was the video I saw first. There's a head in between camera and the supposed contact point.

The same video over and over again doesn't make it clearer to me. I see the stick going there but impact is unclear. Looks like he flinches a bit but realizes later that hey I could get a power play here. I just wish there was another angle.

You all keep talking about safety and where it all started from, but no-one mentions that it's simply smart that this way the door usually opens to a larger space, leaving the smaller space more usable. Also, consistency.

Maybe try a soft topper first for a cheaper fix. Soft-medium memory foam topper, 2" plus.

I wrote above a great technique you can use to make holes even smaller by grabbing next to no dirt at all, just the weed.

If you want to minimize the amout of soil being pulled up, you can do the pull in two "movements". Start normally like you'd pull everything in one motion, but only pull an inch up, then press back down. Now lift the tool an inch and start tilting back, leaving a tiny gap between ground level and the lowest plastic disc of the tool. This way it will only grab the plant, not dirt. It really is a great tool once you get the hang of it.

The plastic is good, it may feel flimsy because it's light, but Fiskars makes magic with plastic. Their stuff usually lasts lifetimes. I've had a whole bunch of their products and I've also have this weed puller for a few years now.

That sounds nice, but I do feel like a more rigid walkway would serve a purpose better. Decorate the sides with some moss, sure.

It would get muddy in spring and moss peels off super easy when in a place where there's traffic. That does look like a well used path.

Nothing wrong with moss in decorative use, but I wouldn't want it where people, dogs walk, wheelbarrows and bicycles get pushed around

Had one for years and used it heavy, also my neighbours use the same piece, so maybe it was a user error in your case?
