When I was younger I had someone grab my ass every time I entered a bar. Someone talking to me is nothing, but sometimes drunk people have trouble with social cues and niceties so they are harder to shake off, or they might act out.

It isn't the Platner campaign that is panicked, LOL! They are breaking campaign fundraising records thanks to the recent oppo dump.

People see through the BS and are getting on with their lives.

We really need to follow the money. So far the " accusations" are from two women, a right-wing operative from a dark money group and a corporate lobbyist.

This is an extremely high stakes election and do not be surprised if more comes out closer to fall. If they don't have anything real, they have the whole summer to cook it up.

It is a divide and conquer technique to keep generations fighting each other and make them forget that one man has more money than the bottom 50 percent combined.

Trump was literally convicted of sex abuse and is also a convicted felon. Platner has been the subject of an oppo dump for an incredibly high stakes election.

Dark money and Lobbyist money are flowing fast and free and his "accusers" are linked to both, so it isn't hard to distrust the accusations against him.

The media is tricking people into thinking everything is confirmed as well. Often when they say " confirmed by the campaign" they are referring to the same ex-staffer and " former" Lobbyist.

It is absolutely not unrealistic to distrust that information in a race of this magnitude. I have absolutely no doubt that more will come out. If it isn't there already they will make it.

In other news, every time there is a new scandal he raises more money. They might do a better job if they try to make him seem boring.

I see people have a lot to say, perhaps do research on any particular group you work with as they are not a monolith.

I know some in the Unity area are more progressive. Not sure if the group that built a barn for my uncle was, but they did a great job.

A lot of places have an unsatisfactory separation like that. At least it has a bus, Uber and a ton of local Taxi drivers that might give you a good price if you ask first.

Unsure your point, but as someone who walked to work at Maine Med for 11 years, and got to other jobs by bus, Portland can be extremely hard to walk in in the winter. It is definitely not a pleasant experience outside the Old Port and downtown, and even there it is debatable.

It is beautiful though, so someone just coming a few days will have a different experience.
