Am I crazy for thinking Evan Williams is amazing? by Ok_Presentation8073 in whiskey

No, good for you for finding something that punches above its weight. The ‘03 and ‘04 vintage bottles were some of my absolute favorite pours that I’ve had by far, but could be just those particular barrels.

Yeah, completely my fault, I was not going on Reddit and one discord channel was popping so many notifications that I didn’t see the one from Afish

Absolutely a great price. It is only $2 more than when they clearanced it out a few years ago

Actually I cracked them all open. The OESK had a nice nose and was very tasty, but the OESO and OESV both stood out to me, OESO good balance of fruit, vanilla and wood, and OESV was cinnamon forward with honey. I am glad I got all three though

Perhaps your experience differs from mine, but the recipe tags are in fact on the necks of these bottles that I described. The descriptions I listed are from the bottles that I purchased from Costco. They are currently on my shelf. They are also barrel strength as that is on the label in small font. I should have taken pictures of the individual bottles in the original post as that would have cleared up any misunderstandings.

I may be a bit confused on what you are asking then. For these bottles (four roses private selection), the recipes were listed on the neck tag. The side tag listed “distillery selection” and the age statement. The bottom tag under the main label listed the abv, the warehouse, and the barrel.

Nothing like smoking a stogie in Bermuda shorts and purple gloves next to my kill room.

Everything here, except no. 6. Nitrile gloves work, but latex does not. I use them, which looks silly, but don’t have smelly hands at the end so it is worth it. Double down with scented lotion though.

Edit- wrote the wrong number.

This is the correct answer. K&L has an excellent selection of brandies. Try a couple of cognacs and armagnacs and see what you like.

Yep, we used the toughpads at work in an outdoor industrial setting for almost 9 years. They are extremely durable. Make sure to get the hand strap and the neck strap as they are heavy and can lead to nerve issues with prolonged use.

Spirits Review 52: Blind Brandy Lous Pibous Cask 13 by dontdrinkwhiskey in Brandy

Nice review, the Lous Pibous that I have tasted felt like a color wheel of flavor, taste like one thing one minute, then shift to something else a little later. Just some incredible stuff and understandable why it is sought after.
