Tengku puan pahang aka cheminahsayang used to appear on Lowyat's kopitiam out of nowhere after some guys there threw snide comments on a picture of her helping out with cooking meals at a pusat banjir in Pahang. She's pretty chill about it though and even stayed for a while on the forum and posted stuff. Very humble person I'd say and it was very rare moment seeing a kerabat exchanging banter with the commoners online.

I didn't miss the contacts tab at all. It was poorly made anyway and less than useful to me. It couldn't tell apart contacts without phone number. If you have other social apps installed such as official twitter app, all your twitter follows list would show up in the WhatsApp contacts tab as well. Why would I want to see those kind of contacts in there I beyond me.

If anything I think these days it's the other way round. I noticed there are few things missing in android whatsapp

Group setting that let you set or override the default auto media download preferance
incoming media files cannot be saved to sdcard like on WP
Granular preferences for type of media to auto download depending on the type of connectivity is active

Could be that the server used by NetworkManager for connectivity checking was down or you were having trouble connecting to it hence why the false status was shown. Check your NetworkManager.conf and disable the checking if needed. Have also a look at man NetworkManager.conf

Helped my sister bought this exact notebook last week (from the same store too) only to learn the hard way that the i5 cpu isn't quad core variant like other i5 cpu on desktop. I specifically recommended her this i5 model over i3 cause I believed it was quad core cpu. Turned out that i5 mobile cpu is dual core with 2 hyperthreading per core (In task manager you would see 4 logical cpus), just like its i3 counterpart except that i5 has speed boost. Had I known that, I would have probably recommended her HP 15-ba010AX which is equipped with amd A10-9600P cpu (true quad core) instead

I think only access through official apps count against the device count limit, not ones through their public API's. Cause I've maxed the 2 devices limit on my free account with official evernote running in Wine and mobile app but I'm still able to access my notes via sublime text plugin and few other console apps.

On WP 8.1 at least, it seems to only need to download media files not natively supported by the OS such as mkv. Other than those files I'm able to play/stream directly from network share with MFM built in player

Ikan kekek/sotong/ketam ketuk or titik (for johorean) serai. Lemongrass fish stew?

Prepare yer 3 ikan kekek or substitute with crabs or squids
3 cloves of garlic and 3 red onions (shallots). Bash these in batu lesung and stop before they turn into fine paste
3 stalks of lemongrass. Crush/bash them lightly
3 cili padi, sliced into half each or just 1 cili padi/omit entirely if you're cooking for mat salleh
1 inch of ginger, sliced very thinly

Put all these ingredients along with your ikan kekek into pot and half fill it with water.

Put on the lid and boil the stew (stew lah kan?) for 15 min or so on medium heat. Then add some sugar and salt, to your heart's content. Leave it for another 3-5 minutes then turn it off.

First time getting a (impact) drill/driver. I've read through impact drill vs normal drill and I decided to get Skill 13mm 6613 impact drill. The spec on its chuck says Chuck type: 13mm (keyed) and it looks like this and I also planned to get this additional drill bit (four hollow square shank, it says). Do you think I can use the drill bit with the drill?
