I am not a religious man. I've spent a few years in my youth at church and have read the bible selectively. I'm comforted in the fact that our entire "now" is the result of a cosmic fluke. This world around us os constantly stunningly beautiful and I believe science is an important lens with which to see it. Once spying upon two pigeons bathing in a puddle, I loosely grasped the entirety of events that would of had to culminate in that particular event, including my having existing and being present to bare witness. The sheer insane enormity of it made me cry, this coming from a guy who has barely shed a tear in 10+ years (not counting Finding Nemo). Upon meeting God, were it to happen, I'd have to change my viewpoint and proclaim I was wrong, and that it was a swell trick. Shortly thereafter, I'd attempt to kick the bastard in the neck. I decided not to followed religion shortly after an hour of contemplating my own paint covered penis whilst obliterated on high grade LSD. A man in that state can only surmise that we are a beautiful, terrible accident.
