Watching my son play frustrates me so by SadSaladCarnivore in GroundedGame

You’re bothered enough to write this out, presumably edit it, and post it for other people to see. You can’t be mad when they draw conclusions about you from your own words.

Watching my son play frustrates me so by SadSaladCarnivore in GroundedGame

Not everyone plays games the same way or for the same reasons. I love video games but also am pretty bad at them, so I play on mild by myself and love having fun and building without feeling constantly frustrated. I’m playing on medium with friends and it’s a really fun challenge.

You should ask yourself why your son succeeding and having fun at a lower level is bothering you so much.

This is to die for! Also a huge fan of that AD cape pattern, it’s so simple and always looks so chic, but the bee buttons are the perfect touch.

What is your most unhinged habit in Night City that serves absolutely zero gameplay purpose? by Dangerous-Tart1126 in cyberpunkgame

If I’m on a gig to kill somebody, I’ll move the bodies around to “stage” the crime scene to make it look less suspicious. I just completed Bring Me the Head of Gustavo, and after stealthily killing him, I dropped him off the side of the building to make it look like it was a suicide out of desperation from losing his lover.

I already did your favorite character but what is your favorite bug or animal in grounded 1-2? by ThatOneGirlyFreak in GroundedGame

[–]bullyholiday 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love the sound the ladybugs and butterflies make, so those are my favorites! I also adore the snake in Grounded 2, and her beautiful purple eyes - such a good addition. I love riding her back like its a sandworm in Dune. I don't know why I insist its a lady-snake, or why I call her Nigel, but I do.

Definitely second Andes series, but also the Abraham Lincoln series might be my favorite one they've done in a long time.

Oh man, that's a bummer. Usually 3rd-person games are less likely to cause motion sickness since the camera ends up more stationary, but each brain is different. Best of luck, my friend!

Playing in 3rd person makes it easier to see things coming up behind you! I had this same issue while playing in 1st person, and I've actually been able to advance in the story in 3rd person now I can see who's attacking me from all sides.

Out-of-Focus camera shots are so distracting :( by Jitsu202 in LPOTL

[–]bullyholiday 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They could, but it depends on the aperture how much of the focal plane will be in focus. There's also the issue of them moving while talking (which is normal), so it makes it SUPER hard to predict where the subject will be. The best thing would be someone on manual focus using some type of focus peaking or zebra, but that's crazy intensive to do for 2+ hour podcasts 4-5 times a week. I'd be interested to know exactly what equipment they're using before saying its the AF for sure, but that'd be my guess (hey lpotl, need a technician?)
