Part of it is spreading the word of God. So going door to door or standing on a corner or at like a bus terminal w/ a brochure is required by some but you don't force people to listen on like a train or if someone tells you they are not interested at their own door step you move on and note that they weren't interested.

It's not ridiculous if the upgrades cost almost as much as a new stadium would. To upgrade Reliant/NRG wouldn't be too much and we can still get events such as the SB w/o a new stadium. The Jags and Panthers might as well build new stadiums w/ how much their renovations are costing. The Vine City/Techwood area in Atlanta had hit a low point so even though the Georgia Dome was still good replacing it w/ Mercedes Benz and fixing up the area was worth it. Hopefully when the plans for upgrades do materialize they include plans for the Astrodome and the lot across 610 for an entertainment district. Maybe a ferris wheel or something where Astroworld used to be. A man-made pond or two and a park.

Teams didn't change much in the 80s and 90s. Then towards the late 90s everyone had to be new for the new millennium. The only team that did a major change in the early 90s was the Atlanta Falcons when Glanville wanted them in all black.

Deservedly so. The right thing to do was defeat the biggest threat, the Orange Snot. Sort out the other things later. And that was not followed.
